TRANSPORT, PACKAGING AND STORAGE

detailing the defects noted must subsequently be made. The collection of
damages is only possible in the event of a complaint made within the
stipulated time limits, i.e. 24-48 hours maximum.

Packaging

INSTALLATION AND USE

ELECTRICAL DANGER
Risk linked to electric current!
- No contact with heat sources should take place with the electrical cord.
- The cord should not hang over the edge of a table or counter.
- Do not pour water into a device that is operating or still hot.
- The device must be properly connected and comply with current regulations.
WARNING
When operating, the device can reach high temperatures. To avoid burns and
accidents, do not use the device if it is malfunctioning, and do not use spare
parts that are not original.
ELECTRICAL DANGER
Risk linked to electric current!
If incorrectly installed, the device may be dangerous and cause injury. Before
any installation, check the electrical network data. Plug in the device only
when it complies. The device must be unpacked and checked completely before
connection by a professional.
Use
WARNING
The installation of the device and maintenance should only be carried out by
professionals.
- Do not leave the device running without monitoring it.
- During use, your hands must be dry.
- Do not move or tilt the device during operation.
MANUAL
FACILITY
The device must be completely removed from its packaging. All protection must
be completely removed. Place the device upright on a solid, flat surface.
Never place the device on a flammable surface.
Do not install this appliance near open fires or other heating appliances.
It is prohibited to place flammable objects on the device or within a distance
of less than 10 cm from the device.
Safety distances for flammable materials according to their degree of
flammability:
- A non-flammable: granite, sandstone, concrete, bricks, ceramic tiles, coating
- B hardly flammable: acumin, heraclitus, lihnos, itaver
- C1 poorly flammable: wood from hardwood trees, plywood, hardened paper, umakart
- C2 medium flammability: chipboard, solodur, cork, rubber, coverings
- C3 easy flammability: wood fiber boards, polystyrene, polyurethane, PVC
The electrical cable must be protected to at least 16 amps. The device must be
plugged directly into a wall outlet. Using a power strip will cause the device
to trip.
When the device is placed against a wall, it must be able to withstand a
temperature of 60°C.
If this is not the case, it is essential to insert a protective layer.
Ensure that all ventilation openings are not blocked.
Before the first start-up, remove the protective sheet. Clean all surfaces with a soft cloth, lukewarm water and a detergent, to remove the anti-rust products applied during manufacturing and then wipe the device with a clean cloth .
Turn on the appliance at full power for approximately 15-20 minutes to cook
the plate.
Never leave the device running unattended!
Fill the device with water up to the line on the side of the tank. Switch on the device using the main switch (A), turn the control device (C) from position “0” to the position marking the desired temperature (between 30°C and 90°C). The indicator light (B) is on when the device is powered. To turn off the appliance – turn the control device (C) to position “0” and press the main switch (A). Always check the water level, never use the device without water. To be used only under supervision and equipped with the corresponding gastronomy containers.
DRAINING THE TRAY
Empty the tank only when the water is cold and the appliance is unplugged.
Obtain a suitable container to collect the water. This container must be made
of heat-resistant material and must be placed to avoid splashing of drain
water. Position the drain hose, open the safety lock by turning it upwards and
turn the lever to the position indicated for opening the tap. Only drain the
bath when the water is cold.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Safety instructions
Any maintenance, cleaning or repair of the device must be carried out with the device unplugged (isolated from all electrical sources).
The use of caustic detergents and baking soda for cleaning is prohibited. Water must not penetrate inside the
device.
Never immerse the device in water or other liquid.
Use Casselin brand products intended for this purpose.
WARNING
The device cannot be cleaned with a direct water jet (no pressurized water
jet).
Daily maintenance
Unplug the device
Clean the device with warm water and a clean cloth after each use
After cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth to polish and dry the device. All parts
must be dried.
Store the device in a dry place.
Safety instructions for maintaining the device
Daily check for damage to the power cord. Never use the appliance when the
cord is damaged. If the cord shows defects, it must be replaced by a qualified
technician.
In the event of a breakdown, contact your dealer.
Any maintenance or repair work should only be carried out by a professional.
NOTICED
In the event of a disconnection, unplug the appliance, allow it to cool and contact your retailer. If the unit does not start, check your power cord. The device should not be plugged into a power strip but directly into a wall outlet. For any other anomaly, contact your dealer.
NOTICED
Waste from used devices: any used device must, during its disposal, comply with the regulations in force in its country*. It is imperative to render the device unusable before disposal by removing the power cable.
