Introduction
Configuration and manufacturing method affect size and weight. Apple tested preproduction AirPods (2nd generation), Charging Case, and Wireless Charging Case units and software with iPhone Xs Max units and prerelease software in February 2019. The playlist included 358 different audio songs from the iTunes Store (256-Kbps AAC encoding). The volume was set to 50%. The AirPods battery was fully drained while playing audio until the first AirPod ceased playing. Battery life is affected by a variety of factors, including device settings, environment, and usage.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Is it worth it to acquire reconditioned AirPods?
The used and refurbished AirPods Pros will provide higher sound quality and bass than the original AirPods, but they will be less pleasant to wear because they sit within your ear canal rather than on the outside. -
What makes MRXJ2AM A different from mv7n2am A?
The sole difference is that the “Apple AirPod with Wireless Charging Case” allows you to charge the case without having to attach it to the AirPod. You may use a wireless charger to charge it. -
Is it possible to swap AirPods between cases?
Hold the Setup button down with the lid open until the status light flashes white. Replace the AirPods and attempt pairing the other one. Return both AirPods to the case after pairing them individually, then attempt pairing again by holding the Setup button. -
Can two AirPods be used together?
Depending on the kind of iPhone or iPad you have, you may be able to connect two pairs of AirPods. Once connected, you may manage the volume of each set of AirPods separately from the lock screen. You may detach one pair of AirPods from the Control Center when you’re ready. -
Is it possible to use stolen AirPods?
As long as the AirPods are out of range of your iPhone, they may be synchronized to another iPhone. The range of your AirPods and iPhone is between 30 and 100 feet. Stolen AirPods can be linked with a new device after they are out of range. -
Are fake AirPods as good as real ones?
The imitation AirPods offered ear-splitting sound quality in our tests; these earbuds were not suited for phone conversations. The audio quality was likewise poor, not up to par with modern Bluetooth headphones. There was a lack of clarity and bass while we listened to music. -
Do fake AirPods connect automatically?
When you open the case of a genuine set of Apple AirPods, a prompt to connect to the earphones appears on an iOS device such as an iPhone. A false pair of AirPods will not connect automatically, forcing you to connect manually through the Bluetooth settings menu. -
When AirPods are reconditioned, what does that mean?
It indicates that the item was returned by another consumer for any reason. The item has been inspected and, if required, fixed, and is now available for purchase. It frequently does not come in the original packaging and does not include a manual. -
How can you know whether your AirPods are genuine?
To put it simply, scanning the serial number on the inside of the casing is the easiest way to discover phony AirPods (see pictures below on how to find that serial number). Once you have that code, enter it into checkcoverage.apple.com to see whether Apple confirms it. -
What makes AirPods 2 and AirPods 2 wireless different?
A wireless charging pad or a Lightning cable may be used to charge the wireless charging case. Only the Lighting cable may be used to charge the wired case. If you’re not sure why these matters, consider how you’ll be transporting your AirPods, especially when travelling.
