Product Usage Instructions
Installation Steps
- Using the installation tooling provided, insert the connector into the die.
- Crimp the connector between the colour bands or knurl markings. Use these markings as a guide to evenly space crimps on the barrel of the connector.
- Begin crimping near the tongue end of the lug and continue crimping toward the wire end.
The required number of compressions is shown on the tool chart provided with the product.
Refer to the tool chart for Compression Connectors Types LCMA, LCMD, LCMDN, and SCMS with Metric Class 2, 5, & 6 Copper Cable for specific wire sizes, die pocket numbers, and crimp quantities.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
CD-2001-XXX, CD-920-XXX
Using the installation tooling shown on the other side, insert the connector in die and crimp between colour bands or knurl markings, use these markings as a guide to evenly space crimps on the barrel of the connector. Begin crimping near the tongue end of the lug and continue crimping toward the wire end. REQUIRED NUMBER OF COMPRESSIONS IS SHOWN ON THE TOOL CHART IN ( ).
