BRACKET PLACEMENT

Bracket Placement

All brackets should be placed in the center of the cable bundle as shown above. If brackets are installed before cable(s) are pulled, consult engineering drawings for the given project.

2| Ucsq1 And Ucsq2 Brackets For Strut Ladder Rung
Systems | Position bracket assembly perpendicular to the ladder rung.
3| **| Thread channel nut, rotating it 90 degrees to grasp the channel edges, and continue threading until resistance is felt. Torque bolt to a recommended 75 lbs∙in [8.5 N∙m]. See page 6 for further instruction.

1| | Position bracket under ladder rung.

2| | Insert retainer clip into correct bracket slot, as specified by dimension “X”.
3| | Insert bolt through retainer clip and bracket.
4| | Thread nut and torque to a recommended 75 lbs∙in [8.5 N∙m]. See page 6 for further instruction.

UCIB1 AND UCIB2 BRACKETS FOR I-BEAM LADDER RUNG SYSTEMS

1| Ucib1 And Ucib2 Brackets For I-beam Ladder Rung
Systems | Match bracket type to appropriate ladder rung as shown in the diagram. Position bracket under the rung.

2| | Place retainer clip in the bracket slot.
3| | Insert bolt through the retainer clip and bracket.
4| | Thread nuts and torque to a recommended 75 lbs∙in [8.5 N∙m]. See next page for further instructions.

CUSHION SLEEVE AND MLT LOCKING STRAP CLEAT INSTALLATION

1| Cushion Sleeve And Mlt Locking Strap Cleat
Installation | Cut cushion sleeve to suitable length to permit wrapping around perimeter of cable(s) and bracket. Position cushion sleeve around cable(s) and bracket.
Ensure there is some overlap on the cushion sleeve when fully wrapped.
**Alternative Option: Individual Cushion Sleeve (CSB42)

2| | Wrap cushion sleeve around cable(s) and bracket. While keeping cushion sleeve in position, encircle the cable bundle with the MLT Strap Cleat.
3| | Insert tail into strap cleat head, while positioning the strap cleat head near the top of the cable bundle, as shown. Ensure the tail end is pointing toward you. Hold the head in place and pull the tail, until taut.
4| | Repeat step 3, looping the tail additionally to create the double loop.
NOTE:** MLT Strap Cleats must be double looped for functionality.
5| Cushion Sleeve And Mlt Locking Strap Cleat
Installation | Before using the PBTMT, review separate instructions for proper operation and maintenance of the tool. Set tool tension to match the MLT Strap Cleat being used. Align nose and mandrel slots to be in-line. Feed the MLT Strap Cleat’s tail into the nose and mandrel slots.
Alternative Option: RT2HT Hand Tool
6| Cushion Sleeve And Mlt Locking Strap Cleat
Installation | Press and hold the trigger on the PBTMT tool until it automatically tensions the MLT Strap Cleat and cuts off the excess tail, leaving a flush finish.
