Cautions and warnings

• Read carefully the instructions given in this manual and follow them strictly.
• Keep this manual for future reference and include it if you give the product to another user.
• Do not disassemble and / or make changes to the product.
• The product’s installation must be carried out exclusively by specialized technicians. IN case of wrong installation or connections, the manufacturer doesn’t take any responsibility for damages to people or objects.
• Before starting the installation make sure that the system is connected earth ground and that the amplifier is turned off. There could be a dangerous voltage on the connection terminals.
• The product is not suitable for outdoor use. To avoid the risk of short-circuits don’t expose it to high temperatures [above 40°1, rain or humidity.
• Do not allow flammable liquid, water or metal objects to enter the product.
• Don’t touch the product with wet hands.
• In the event of a serious operating problem, stop using the product immediately. Never try to repair it by yourself, but contact the authorized technical service center. Repairs carried out by unskilled persons could lead to serious damages both to the fixture and to people.
• To clean the product, use only a dry or slightly damp cloth, avoiding solvents or detergents of any kind .

Before making any connection, position the speakers in the desired location. They can be simply placed on a shelf or fixed to the wall thanks to the supplied brackets. Take care to install them in a stable and well-ventilated position.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

[Fig.1 l To fix the brackets use the included screws. If the brackets are mounted on a wall some dowels could be necessary. For wood walls or panels the included screws will be enough. Always check that the speakers are well fastened to the wall or to the panel, to avoid dangerous falls that could lead to damages to people or objects. Above all tighten carefully the center screw before mounting the speaker and periodically check that it is not loosen.

[Fig.2-3) Remove the terminal block to facilitate the connection of the 2 “com” [-land “1 DOV” [+l cables. Once the cables are properly fixed, reinsert the terminal block into the speakers.

[Fig.4-5) To mount the speaker on the bracket remove the rubber stopper, then put the bracket into the speaker’s slot and position again the stopper.

A practical switch allows to adjust the maximum power of the internal transformer [and so of the speakerl. The values indicate RMS power, which is about the half of maximum power.

It is conceived to be connected to 1 DOV PA systems. To avoid damages to things or persons the installation must be carried out only by skilled and qualified persons.

Once arranged the connections you can start using your amplification system. Please take care to adjust the volume to avoid sound distortion. If the sound is distorted reduce the volume.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

The product is covered by warranty according to current national and European regulations.

• The warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults occurred in the first 2 years from the date of purchase. In case of purchase with invoice, the warranty is limited to 1 year.
• Damages caused by negligence or wrong use of the device are not covered by warranty.
• The warranty is no longer effective if the item is modified or disassembled by not authorized people.
• This warranty doesn’t necessarily envisage the product’s replacement.
• External components, batteries, knobs, switches and any removable or subject to wear and tear parts are excluded from warranty.
• Shipment for the return of faulty items is at expense and risk of the owner.
• For all intents and proposes the warranty is effective only upon exhibition of the invoice or of the purchase receipt.
• If you send the product for repair, it must be shipped with complete original packaging: we therefore recommend to save it.

The user must , therefore , confer the fixture complete with all the essential components to an authorized disposal center for collection of electronic and electrical waste, or return it to the dealer when buying new equipment of equivalent type, at a rate of one to one, or one to zero if external dimension is less than 25cm. Appropriate separate collection to send the decommissioned equipment to recycling , treatment and environmentally compatible disposal helps to prevent negative impact on the environment and human health and promotes recycling of the materials making up the product. In Italy illegal dumping of the product by the user entails the application of administrative sanctions pursuant to Legislative Decree n. 49 (14/03/20141.
