Bluetooth Pairing

• Step 1 : Put the iPad case on and slide the keyboard switch to the On position. Hold down f simultaneously and then the keyboard will enter pairing mode with a blinking blue indicator light.
• Step 2 : On your iPad, go to Settings > Bluetooth, turn on Bluetooth, and then “Inateck KB04122″ will show up in Other Devices”
• Step 3 : Tap “Inateck KB04122” to pair it with your iPad. The Bluetooth indicator will go off in seconds, which means that Bluetooth pairing is completed.

Note:

• 1)Set Up Your iPad:

For a better user experience, please follow steps below to set up your iPad at first use once Bluetooth pairing is completed.

Go to Settings > General > Trackpad and drag the slider to the middle of the tracking speed. Go to Settings > General > Trackpad and turn on “Tap to Click” and “Two Finger Secondary Click” Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch and turn off AssistiveTouch. Go to Settings > General > Gestures and enable the toggle for the “Four and Five Finger Swipe” setting.

Optional Settings

Steps to stop Caps Lock changing your keyboard language: Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard and turn off Switch Languages using Caps Lock.

Steps to disable the double tap period shortcut:

Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard and click the switch to turn on “.” Shortcut.

• 2) Fix Bluetooth Pairing Problems:

Step 1 : Go to Settings > Bluetooth, find “Inateck KB04122” in My Devices and tap the info button next to it, then tap “Forget This Device”. If there are multiple pairing records related to the keyboard, please clear all of them.
Step 2 : Hold simultaneously for 3 seconds and then the three indicators will blink for 3 times once the factory reset is completed.
Step 3 : Pair your Inateck KB04122 with your iPad.

Common Keyboard Shortcuts

LED Indicator

Restore Factory Defaults

Hold simultaneously for 3 seconds and then the three indicators will blink for 3 times once the factory reset is completed.

Check Battery Level

Hold cmd simultaneously to check the battery level according to the blinking frequency of the red battery indicator.

Charging

When the battery level is under 20%, the battery indicator will blink in red. Please recharge the keyboard in time. The recommended charging voltage and current are 5V and 250mA respectively. To recharge the keyboard, you can connect the included USB cable to the charger of your cellphone or the USB port of a computer. The keyboard will be fully charged in 2~3 hours. The indicator will stay in red when the keyboard is charging and turn green when it’s fully charged.

Sleep Mode

When KB04122 is left idle for 10 minutes, it will enter sleep mode and the Bluetooth connection will be disrupted. The connection can be rebuilt with a press of any key.

Note : Tapping the trackpad cannot wake up the keyboard.
