BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.
- Clean the iron’s soleplate with a soft cloth.
- Make sure you have read and understood all instructions and warnings in this instruction manual. Pay particular attention to the safety instructions on previous pages.
- Place the appliance on an even, heat-resistant surface. Do not place the device near heat sources, places with high humidity levels, or flammable materials.
- Plug the appliance into a power supply. The plug must be accessible so that, in case of an emergency, it can be easily unplugged.
Note
You may notice a slight burning smell or smoke when using the product for the
first time,caused by the excess of lubricants from the manufacturing process.
Smoke will disappear after a short time.
OPERATION
Filling up the water tank
- Unplug the iron before filling up the water tank.
- Rest the iron on its heel rest, tilt it forward approximately 45º and fill the water tank up to the MAX mark.
- Close the water tank cap, the fill-up opening must be closed while the iron is in operation.
- Empty the water tank after each use.
Note
- Do not use chemically descaled or perfumed water.
- Whenever you fill or empty the water tank, you must do so with the iron unplugged from the mains. Do not exceed the “MAX” mark on the tank.
- Do not use additives or add other liquids such as perfume, vinegar, starch, condensed water from dryers or air conditioning systems, or chemicals, as this may damage the product.
- This product is designed to work with tap water. However, to ensure optimal performance for longer, you can mix tap water with distilled water in a 1:1 ratio. If water in your area is very hard, the mixture of tap water and distilled water should be in a 1:2 ratio.
Temperature setting
Choose the right temperature according to the fabric you need to iron. It is recommended to start ironing the fabric at a low temperature, and finally iron the fabric that needs the maximum temperature.

- Connect the plug of the product to a grounded circuit.
- Turn the mode knob to set the mode and select the appropriate temperature for ironing.
- The flashing orange light indicates that the soleplate is heating up and the red light indicates that the selected temperature has been reached.
Dry ironing
- Place the iron upright.
- Plug the iron into the power supply.
- Set the steam knob to the position.
- Turn the mode knob to set the mode according to the type of fabric. The orange indicator light will light up.
- Preheat the iron until the indicator lights up red.
- The iron is ready for use.
Steam ironing

Place the iron upright and make sure there is enough water in the tank.

Plug the iron into the power supply.

Set the steam knob to the or position according to your needs.

Turn the mode knob to set the mode to WOOL or higher depending on the type of fabric.
The orange indicator light will light up. -
Preheat the iron until the indicator lights up red.

The iron is ready for use.
Note
To prevent the soleplate from leaking, do not hold down the steam-shot button
for more than 5 seconds.
For optimal steam burst, do not press the steam burst button more than three
times in a row to prevent the iron from cooling. Allow one minute of rest
between each use.
Spray
- The spray function can be used with any temperature setting during the steam ironing or dry ironing mode, as long as the tank is full.
- Press the steam button several times to moisten the garment.
Self-cleaning
- Make sure that the device is switched off and the steam knob is in the 0 position.
- Fill the water tank up to the maximum mark and close it.
- Select the maximum temperature mode.
- Plug the appliance into a power supply.
- Unplug the appliance when it reaches the temperature.
- Holding the iron horizontally over the tap, turn the steam knob to maximum, press the auto-clean button and lightly shake the device. Place a container or bowl beneath the iron.
- The soleplate will emit boiling water and steam to remove all impurities.
- Repeat this process if necessary.
- After the self-cleaning process, switch on the device again and let the iron heat up to dry the soleplate.
- Switch off the iron when it has reached the selected temperature, slide the hot iron over a piece of used cloth to remove any traces of water from the soleplate, and allow it to cool down before storing it.
Recommendation
Carry out the self-cleaning cycle once every 2 weeks. When excessive limescale
is observed,carry it out more frequently.
Automatic shut-off function
The iron will automatically turn off when it is placed and kept still
horizontally for 30 seconds,or vertically for 8 minutes.
Note
Synthetic fabric, nylon, synthetic silk, and silk cannot be ironed with a
steam iron, as this may damage the surface finish.
Steam burst
By pressing the steam-shot button, the soleplate will shoot out a shot of
steam. This function can only be activated during high temperature ironing.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Turn off, unplug the appliance from the power supply, empty the water tank (do it after each use) and allow it to cool down completely.
- In case fabric is adhered to the soleplate due to heat, use a damp cloth and vinegar to detach it.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the device.
- If scale blocks the steam outlet, use a toothpick to remove it.
- To protect the soleplate while it is stored, place the steam iron in an upright position on its heel rest.
Exterior iron surface
After unplugging and letting the iron cool down, wipe its exterior surface
with a damp cloth and, if necessary, a mild detergent.
Warning
Do not use any abrasive cleaning agent.
Soleplate
Starch and other types of residues can be easily removed from the soleplate
with a damp cloth. Do not use nickel balls to clean the soleplate or place the
iron on rough surfaces to avoid scratching the soleplate finish. If synthetic
fabrics are ironed at high temperature, both the fabric and the soleplate of
the iron could be damaged. The best way to remove synthetic residue from the
soleplate is to heat it up and iron over an old cotton rag.
Warning
Do not use steam iron cleaners in this iron since they could damage its parts.
Storage
- Disconnect the iron from the mains supply.
- Empty the tank by turning the iron upside down and gently shaking it.
- Allow the iron to cool down completely.
- Wind the power cord around the base of the iron.
- Store the iron in a vertical position.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem | Possible cause | Solution |

Temperature sensor error (Contact TAS)
It means that the temperature is below 50 degrees after 45 seconds.
It means that the temperature is above 270 degrees, and that the overheating protection system is activated.
Self-inspection: check that the content shown in the LCD display is correct and make sure that everything is working correctly.
