Power ON/OFF KB02028

  1. Power ON: Toggle the switch to ON.
  2. Power OFF: Toggle the switch to OFF.

Pair KB02028 with a Surface Go

  • Step 1: For the first time you pair KB02028 with a Surface Go, you just need to toggle the switch on the KB02028 to the “ON” position and KB02028 will enter Bluetooth pairing mode automatically. To enter this mode, you can also hold simultaneously for 3 seconds and then the Bluetooth indicator will flash to indicate that KB02028 is under pairing mode.
  • Step 2: On the Surface Go, select All Settings – Devices – Add Bluetooth or Other Device — Bluetooth, and then “Inateck KB02028” will show up as an available device.
  • Step 3: Select “Inateck KB02028” on Surface Go.
  • Step 4: When the blue indicator keeps on, it means that KB02028 is paired with the Surface Go successfully.

Note:
If KB02028 doesn’t work even though the blue indicator stays on, it might have been paired with another nearby computer. In this case, please follow the steps in “Troubleshooting in Bluetooth Pairing” to resolve the issue.

TroubIeshooting in Bluetooth Pairing

  • Step 1: Delete all the Bluetooth pairing records related to KB02028 on the Surface Go.
  • Step 2: Hold simultaneously for 3 seconds. The 3 indicators will flash 3 times simultaneously and then the blue indicator will flash, which means that the keyboard enters Bluetooth pairing mode. Under this mode, please re-pair the keyboard with the Surface Go.

Keyboard Backlight

  1. Hold simultaneously to adjust the backlight color. 7 colors are available in total.
  2. Hold simultaneously to adjust the backlight brightness. 3 levels are at your choice.

Note:
When the battery level is lower than 20%, the backlight turns off automatically.

How to Use Fl-F12
You may press the keys to enable/disable the Fn lock. (The keyboard disables the lock by default.)

When the Fn lock is enabled:

  • The press can trigger the functionality owned by .
  • Press to dim the brightness of the screen;
  • This method applies to all F Keys ( ).

When the Fn lock is disabled (Default Status):
Press the to dim the brightness of the screen. Press simultaneously to use the functionality owned by .

Restore Factory Settings

If you are unsure what settings you have made on KB02028, you may hold simultaneously for 3 seconds to restore the factory setting.

Note:
After the factory reset, the keyboard would enter Bluetooth pairing mode automatically. You need to re-pair: KB02028 with your Surface Go.

Check Battery Level

Press simultaneously to check the battery level when KB02028 is not being charged.

Charging

When the battery level is under 20%, the red indicator will flash. Please recharge the KB02028 in time. The recommended charging voltage is 5V. To charge KB02028, you can connect the USB cable to the charger of a cellphone or the USB port of a computer. The keyboard will be fully charged after 3 hours.

Note: It is not recommended to charge KB02028 with a fast charger.
