Installation Instructions
Intel Installation
- Step 1 Install the backplate to the motherboard and fix it with spacers.
- Step 2 Install the mounting brackets and secure them with the screw.
- Step 3 Applying the thermal paste on the CPU evenly, and remove the protection film from the copper base.
- Step 4 Place the cooler on the CPU while aligning the screws to the backplate mounting points, secure with a screwdriver.
- Step 5 Install the fan and connect the fan wire to the motherboard according to the diagram above.
AMD Installation
- Step 1 Remove the plastic retainer of the AMD retention module, and place the existing backplate back to MB.
- Step 2 Installation of AMD spacer column.
- Step 3 Install the mounting brackets and secure with the screw.
- Step 4 Applying the thermal paste on the CPU evenly, and remove the protection film from the copper base.
- Step 5 Place the cooler on the CPU while aligning the screws to the backplate mounting points, secure with a screwdriver.
- Step 6 Install the fan and connect the fan wire to the motherboard according to the diagram above.
