Technical Specifications
The V-Gard® H1 Safety Helmet and accessories provide exceptional comfort and ease of use in a stylish low-profile design. A complete above-the-neck platform for all applications, especially work-at-eights, confined spaces, and rescue.

- Fas-Trac® III Pivot ratchet suspension for superior comfort, adjustability, and range of motion; field replaceable
- Non-contact foam liner maximizes airflow & breathability for optimal cooling and hygiene
- 4-point chinstrap with multiple adjustment points for customized fit and comfort; field replaceable
- Convenient rescue whistle integrated into the chin strap buckle
- Premium sweatband with sweat-wicking fabric, breathable foam, and Velcro® attachment for easy field replacement
- Patent-pending “push-button” accessory attachment rail and universal light strap clips for simplicity and convenience
- Reflective gray striping included

- Multiple printing services: one-color logo to digital photos, including individually personalized logos
- Up to three logo locations: Front, Back Left, Back Right
Care & Maintenance
- Clean helmet assembly regularly with MSA’s Confidence Plus Cleaning Solution (P/Ns 10009971 or 10032737) or mild soap (no detergents) and warm water
- Do not throw, drop, use as support or abuse helmet to ensure proper working condition
- Store helmet in clean, dry environment, 5-35°C (41-95°F)
Service Life Guidelines

V-Gard Helmets are made with high-quality, wear-resistant materials

Inspect the helmet before and after each use and replace any part(s) as required

Always replace the helmet after it has withstood an impact or penetration. MSA recommends:
– replacing the suspension after no more than 12 months of use
– replacing the chinstrap after no more than 12 months of use
– replacing the shell after no more than five (5) years of use -
Storage life is 2 years from the date of manufacture when stored as directed

Warranty: 1 year from date of purchase (free from manufacturer’s defects)
