Operation of the ClimaRad S-Fan+
The ClimaRad S-Fan+ achieves optimal air quality through ventilation combined
with heating. This unit can be used in two different ways: Ventilate Only, and
Heat and Ventilate.
warning: Please note! The air supply opening must always remain open and unimpeded!
Operation ClimaRad S-Fan+
The ClimaRad S-Fan+ can be operated via the control panel on the bottom of the unit in combination with the paired room thermostat.
Function keys ventilate

Automatic control. Room ventilation is automatically controlled by your ClimaRad S-Fan+, which ventilates based on CO measurement and RV. Press 2 to switch off the heating function.

Manual: manual ventilation with outside air:
You can set your desired ventilation speed using the + and – buttons on your control panel. After a period of 4 hours, the ClimaRad S-Fan+ switches back to automatic control. Use this function in summer, for example, when you want to lower the temperature in your heated room by a few degrees at night (summer night ventilation). -
Comfort mode. The ClimaRad S-Fan+ preheats the outside air to 12ºC for a period of 8
hours. -
Air quality. Increase or decrease the desired air quality.
Function keys heating and ventilation
Heating. The S-Fan+ will heat the room to the temperature set on the room
thermostat. The room is ventilated based on CO.
Heating rate. Increase or decrease fan speed to heat faster or slower.
Function keys general
Pause/Off. Use this function if you (temporarily) do not want to
ventilate. After a period of 4 hours, the ClimaRad S-Fan+ switches back to the
automatic setting. When the button is pressed for 5 seconds, the unit switches
off. In case of emergencies you can use this function to switch off the
device.
Child lock. The child lock will be activated when you press and hold the
three buttons on the panel for 4 seconds.
- Child lock. The child lock is switched on. Press and hold the three buttons for 4 seconds to switch it off.
- Malfunction. A malfunction has occurred. Contact your technician or housing corporation.
- Dirty filter. Replace the air filter or contact your technician or housing corporation. After replacement, press and hold the + and – buttons for 6 seconds.
- Pairing. The ClimaRad S-Fan+ can be linked to other ClimaRad products. Press the buttons briefly and simultaneously.
Switch off
- Press 4 seconds simultaneously
- Press for 6 seconds
- Press briefly and simultaneously
