Replacing air supply filters

  1. Switch off the device first by removing the plug from the sockets.ClimaRad-2-0-Electrical-Radiator-fig-1
  2. There is a locking screw at the bottom of each of the two (or four) radiator consoles. Remove these locking screws.ClimaRad-2-0-Electrical-Radiator-fig-2
  3. Tilt the radiator and, if required, lock it with an Allen key or screwdriver.ClimaRad-2-0-Electrical-Radiator-fig-3
  4. Push the left-hand and right-hand slide on top of the ClimaRad inwards and open both covers by pulling them towards you.
  5. Remove the black filter caps on the left and right.
  6. Slide the three new filters in the unit from the left-hand side. The old filters will automatically slide out on the right-hand side.
  7. Replace the black filter caps on the left and right.
  8. Close the covers on the left-hand and right-hand side of the unit, and slide both latching slides outwards.
  9. Unlock the radiator and tilt it back. Push the plug back into the socket and reset the filter hour counter (by simultaneously pressing the + and – on the display for 6 seconds ). The message ‘Filter vervuild’ will disappear. Tighten the locking screws again.

Cleaning the air outlet filtersONDERHOUD: luchtafvoerfilters

The air outlet filter is located at the bottom of the unit. When visibly dirty, remove the dirt from the air outlet filter with a vacuum cleaner. This guarantees the flow of air. You do not need to remove the air outlet filter.

Replacing the air outlet filters

  1. Remove the plug for the ventilation unit and the plug for the electrical radiator from the sockets and pull the filter tray at the bottom of the ClimaRad

  2. Remove the 3 filters from the tray.

  3. Insert 3 new filters in the 3 sections of the tray and press down firmly.ClimaRad-2-0-Electrical-Radiator-fig-12

  4. Slide the filter tray closed until you hear a clicking sound. Push the plug back into the socket.
    Cleaning the air ducts

  5. Follow steps 1 to 4 under ‘Replacing the air supply filters.

  6. Turn both blue caps once against the direction of the clock and remove them.

  7. Remove any dirt from both channels with a vacuum cleaner or a soft cloth (do not use water).ClimaRad-2-0-Electrical-Radiator-fig-13

  8. Push both blue filter caps fully back in for a correct operation and tighten.

  9. Close the covers on the left-hand and right-hand side of the unit, and slide both latching slides outwards.

  10. Unlock the radiator and tilt it back. Push the plug back into the sockets and tighten the retaining screws.ClimaRad-2-0-Electrical-Radiator-fig-14

Maintenance frequency for filters

  • When should you replace the filters?
  • With normal use, every 2 years or earlier if the message ‘Filter veruild’ appears on the display (for example in homes and offices).
  • In the case of intensive use, after 1 year or earlier if the message ‘Filter vervuild’ appears on the display (e.g. for care homes and schools).
