CHARGING

Charging
CAUTION! Property damage
Remember that the battery capacity will get shorter after longer storage periods. Long charging times due to interruption between charging and discharging cycles should be therefore avoided. We recommend that you fully discharge the battery before the first charging. Do not charge the trimmer for more than 24 hours at a time. Do not leave the trimmer permanently connected to the charging cable.

ATTENTION: Use only the charging cable supplied with the trimmer for charging. Make sure the switch is in the „OFF“ position before charging.

NOTES
Connect the power cord to the device. Connect the power cable to an easily accessible PC with a USB interface or to a socket. When the cable is connected to the power supply, the red LED on the trimmer body lights up permanently.

To extend battery life, we recommend the following charging times:

First charging – charging time about 12 hours
Each additional charging – charging time about 8 hours
1× in six months – we recommend to extend the charging time to about 12 hours.

Warning: The red LED is on even after the device is fully charged.
The operating time with a fully charged battery is about 30-35 minutes.

USING THE APPLIANCE

NOTES:

The trimmed beard must be dry.

  • The length of the cut may vary according to the cutting angle.
  • Start with the comb attachment set to the longest cut, and then use shorter cut lengths gradually during cutting.
  • Switch on the device by sliding the switch to the ON position.
  • Before cutting for the first time, turn on the trimmer by sliding the switch to the ON position and make sure that the appliance works normally and the blades move smoothly.

Setting the cut length
For a minimum length of the cut it is possible to use the trimmer without a comb attachment. To completely remove the comb attachment, gently push the attachment from the back of the device with your thumb until it releases from the lock. To adjust the cutting length on the attachment, turn the wheel (No. 6) clockwise or counterclockwise relative to the mark on the trimmer body. Each setting level, see column “A”, corresponds to a specific cutting length in mm, see column “B” in the table Setting the lengths of the cut.

Beard trimming
Make sure that the beard is clean and dry before cutting it. Do not use shaving gel or foam as they may damage the trimmer.
Trim your beard in the direction of the beard growth. Make sure the head is at a right angle to the skin.

NOTE: Always turn off the trimmer during breaks in cutting.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

You can remove the head with the blades. Press the head release button in the direction of the arrow on the button and carefully remove the blades. The shaving blades are sharp, so take extra care when handling them. When reinserting the cutting blades make sure that the head is properly seated in the device. It has to snap into the body.

Turn off the device.

  • Remove the removable comb attachment and rinse with water. Before reassembly, allow it to dry thoroughly.
  • Use the included cleaning brush to clean the cutting head with the blades.
  • Never clean the blade head with water or any other liquid.
  • We recommend gently lubricating the moving teeth of the cutting edges with silicone oil after each use.
  • You can use the supplied oil.
  • Use only acid free oil.
  • DO NOT USE vegetable oils, fats or oils with solvents for lubrication. The solvents evaporate, leaving a thick layer of lubricant, which can slow down the movement of the blades.
  • Gently press the blades from the underside to open the head and lubricate the moving parts of the mechanism.
  • Remove excess lubricant with a dry, lint-free cloth.
