SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read carefully and save for future use!
Warning: The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and situations possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot be integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and operating this appliance. We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, voltage fluctuation or the modification or adjustment of any part of the appliance.
To protect against a risk of fire or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical appliances, including the following:

  1. Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label and that the socket is properly grounded. The outlet must be installed in accordance with applicable electrical codes according to EN.
  2. Do not operate the heat convector without the base properly attached.
  3. Never use the device if the power cord or any other part of the device is damaged. All repairs, including cord replacements, must be carried out at a professional service centre! Do not remove the protective covers from the appliance; there is a risk of electric shock!
  4. Protect the device from a direct contact with water and other liquids to prevent an injury by electric shock.
  5. Do not use the convector outside or in wet environment and do not touch the power cable or the device with wet hands. Risk of electric shock.
  6. Be cautious when using the convector near children!
  7. Ensure that the device is placed on a flat and stable surface. This equipment must not be placed on furniture or mounted on the wall.
  8. Do not use the convector close to flammable objects or underneath them, e.g. curtains. The temperature of the surfaces near the convector (1 m) may be higher than usual while it is in operation. Place the convector to ensure sufficient air circulation.
  9. Do not place the convector on a high pile carpet.
  10. Do not place the convector in front of or directly under an electric socket.
  11. Do not cover the heat convector! In case of covering it there is a risk of overheating and fire.
  12. The convector must not be connected to the electrical outlet via a timer or connected to a remote switching power circuit, as in the case of remote switching on of the covered or incorrectly placed convector there is a risk of fire.
  13. Do not use the convector close to a bathtub, shower or a pool and do not place in locations where is a danger of it falling into a bathtub or another container with water!
  14. If the device emits an abnormal smell or smoke, immediately unplug it and have it checked by a service centre.
  15. Do not switch off the device by pulling on the power cord. Always turn off the main switch of the convector first!
  16. Always disconnect the power supply before handling, carrying or maintaining the device.
  17. Do not leave a convector with inserted power cord unsupervised. Disconnect the cord from the electrical outlet prior to any maintenance. Do not unplug the device by pulling the power cord. Unplug the power cord from the outlet by grasping the plug.
  18. Do not allow the power cord to touch hot surfaces or run the cord over sharp edges.
  19. Do not use the convector in places where flammable materials are stored (paint, gasoline, solvent etc.) or where there is a risk of flammable fumes appearing.
  20. Do not put your fingers or other objects into the openings of the heat convector.
  21. Do not cover the output openings with a towel, for example, or when drying any laundry.
  22. Use the convector only according to the instructions provided in this manual. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by the improper use.
  23. This appliance is specified for household use. Do not use outdoors Do not use it in dusty environments. Keep it dry.
  24. This heater is designed for rooms where the ambient temperature is above 0°C.
  25. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older and people with lower physical or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed to use the product in a safe manner and understand the potential dangers. Children shall not play with the appliance. User cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by unsupervised children. Children under 8 years old must keep away from the appliance and its power supply.
    • Children under 3 years of age may not be near the device unless constantly supervised.
    • Children aged 3 to 8 years can turn the appliance on and off only if it is properly placed and installed in its correct working position when they are under supervision or have been instructed on the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the potential dangers. Children aged 3 to 8 years are not allowed to plug the appliance, set controls, clean it or perform user maintenance.
      WARNING: Some parts of the appliance may be ve hot during operation and can cause burns. It is necessary to exercise caution in the presence of children or persons with physical or mental impairments.

WARNING: This heater is not equipped with a device for measuring the room temperature. Do not use the heater in small rooms occuppied by individuals that are not capable of leaving the room without assistance, unless proper supervision is available.
WARNING: Use the device always only in the upright position (base on the bottom, controls at the top). Any other position is dangerous.

Do not immerse in water!
The surfaces marked in this way become hot during use. Risk of burns!
DO NOT COVER! Danger of fire.
DANGER for children: Children may not play with the packaging material. Do not let children play with the plastic bags. Risk of suffocation.

Installation requirements
Place the radiator on a flat surface that provides sufficient free space for proper venting. There must be a distance of at least 1 m between the device and surrounding objects. The heater must not be operated without the bases fitted.

CONVECTOR ASSEMBLY
Prior to any manipulation with the device always disconnect the power supply to prevent injury by electric shock.
Make sure the package contains all parts necessary for assembling the convector. Contact your vendor if this is not the case. Package contents:

  • Convector 1 pc
  • Stand 2 pcs
  • Fixing screws for pedestals 4 pcs
  • Operating manual 1 pc

The base must be attached to the convector before first use.

  1. Turn the convector upside down.
  2. Fit the two bases on the underside of the convector so that the holes in the bases line up with the holes in the convector body.
  3. Attach using the included screws.
  4. Once assembled, turn the convector back to its normal working position and you can start using it.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Inserting battery in the remote control:

  1. Remove the cover of the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Insert in the holder in the cover the battery CR2032 (included), pay attention to proper polarity of the battery.
  3. Insert the cover with the battery back in the remote control.

Note: When first switched on or switched on after a long period of inactivity, the heaters may emit odor or smoke. This is normal and it will fade away in a short while.
After plugging it to the outlet, turn on the heating first with the main switch 0/I and then with the switch on the control panel or the remote control.
You cannot change the setting or the temperature without switching on both switches.

Display and controls
  1. Display
    The first time you switch it on (or after a long power disconnection), all segments and symbols of the display are displayed for 6 seconds, and then the display enters normal mode. The ambient temperature is displayed in the range of -9 to 37 °C, the set temperature is in the range of 5 to 37 °C or 41 to 99 °F. The temperature can be set between 5 °C and 37 °C with a tolerance of ± 1 °C.

  2. Switch button
    When you connect the appliance to the power supply and turn on both switches, the display shows the current temperature of the room and the current set temperature. Wait about 6 seconds and then you can freely change any values on the display using the buttons, see below.

  3. The button to switch the temperature scale °C/°F
    Pressing this button repeatedly switches the temperature display between the Celsius and Fahrenheit scale.

  4. Operating mode button
    Press this button repeatedly to switch between power modes:
    750W > 1250W > 2000W > tempering (the display shows a star) > 750W > etc…

  5. Fan button (Turbo)
    Press the button repeatedly to turn the fan on or off. When the fan mode is active, the fan indicator is lit up.

  6. Button +
    Press the + temperature setting button to increase the temperature between 5 – 37 °C (750 W / 1250 W / 2000 W modes only). In the tempering mode the temperature is set firmly to 5 °C and cannot be changed.

  7. Button
    By pressing the button – temperature setting you can lower the temperature, the minimum value is 5 °C (only in 750 W / 1250 W / 2000 W modes).

  8. Timer button
    The appliance is equipped with a timer, which allows you to set the desired time of heating in the range 1 to 24 hours. After this time period expires, the appliance automatically shuts off. Press the timer button repeatedly, until the required time period appears (e.g. 1h 00m). If you want to deactivate the timer, press the timer button repeatedly until the time indicator disappears from the display.
    Note: You can set only whole hours with the timer, the countdown displays hours and minutes. To set the timer, you must first set the temperature and power and let the connector run.
    The timer starts after about 5 seconds.

Operation modes and functions of the appliance

  1. Modes 750W, 1250W, 2000W:
    The heating power is set to 750 W, 1250 W or 2000 W. The display shows the appropriate icon (750W, 1250W or 2000W). Heating switches on when the ambient temperature drops 1 °C under the set temperature and switches off once the set ambient temperature is reached.

  2. Tempering mode
    When you select this mode a star symbol lights up. If the ambient temperature is below 5 °C, the 2000 W heater is switched on and the “2000 W” icon lights up. When the ambient temperature reaches 9°C, the heaters will switch off, the power icons will turn off and only the tempering mode icon and ambient temperature information will remain lit.

  3. Fan:
    You can turn on/off the fan in the 750W, 1250W and 2000W modes. The fan cannot be used in tempering mode.

  4. Audio signals:
    You can hear an audio signal every time you press a button, confirming the press of the button.

  5. Temperature sensor:
    The heating is equipped with thermal fuse. When overheating occurs, the control unit shuts off the heating elements and the symbol “- -” appears on the display of ambient temperature. After normal operation resumes, the appliance returns to its original operating mode.

  6. Turning off the convector:
    First switch off the convector using the button on the display (or the controller) and the main 0/I switch, then pull the cable out of the mains socket!
    Any handling of the device can only be performed if the switches are off and it is disconnected from the electrical outlet!

CLEANING
  • Before cleaning always unplug the power cable from the outlet and let it cool entirely.
  • Clean the out surface with a damp cloth and polish it with dry cloth. Do not use detergents or abrasive cleaners and prevent water from entering the device.
  • If you do not plan to use the device for a longer period of time, you should store it in a clean and dry place protected from dust. It is best to store the appliance in the original package to prevent dust from entering the device.

Wrapping paper and corrugated paperboard – deliver to scrapyard. Packing foil, PE bags, plastic elements – throw into plastic recycling containers.
