The principle and the advantages of induction heating
The main advantage of the induction heating is the elimination of heat losses, because it heats the bottom of the pot directly. If you are using electrical hobs with burners or ceramic glass cooktop, the burner or the cooktop heats up always first and then is the heat transferred to the bottom of the pot. This transition is the source of high heat losses, especially when the bottom of the pot and the cooktop do not fit exactly to each other (there is a gap or burned food between them). In contrast, the induction heating warms the bottom of the pot much faster, and the cooking is then faster as well, using substantially less electrical power.

Suitable cookware for cooking on an induction hob
Before use, make sure that the pot you would use is made of magentisable conductive material (enamel, cast iron, stainless steel) while the bottom of the pot is flat and even and has at least 12 cm diameter.
The induction hob is ready for cooking nearly immediately. Never place empty pots/pans on the ceramic glass cootop. Place the pot/pan always at the center of the induction zone, otherwise the lower part of the pan is heated unevenly and the food in the pan may burn.

Unsuitable cookware: ceramic, glass, aluminum, pots/pans with rounded/convex bottoms or with diameter less than 12 cm or larger than 24 cm.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Place the induction hob on a flat surface in such a way that the openings for air intake and outflow are not covered. The distance between the wall and the induction hob must be at least 10 cm.

Switching on

1. After plugging the induction hob in the electric outlet you will hear a beep and you will see “OFF” on the display.
2. Press the on/off button and the display will show “ON”, the fan will start and the induction hob will change from standby mode to heating mode.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning and any handling of the induction hob, unplug it from the power outlet and allow the hob to cool!

Keep the hob out of reach of children until it cools!
After cooling, clean the ceramic glass cooktop and the control panel of the hob with a cloth and use a cloth moistened with dish detergent for more soiled places.
Do not use abrasive sponges or scouring powder. Do not immerse the induction hob and the power cord in water!

Keep the top of the hob clean all the time to prevent accumulation of dirt around the fan and its possible failure. Wipe the dust from the area of air circulation openings using cotton buds or a toothbrush with a small amount of non agressive cleaning detergent and carefully remove oil stains.
Clean carefully the remnants of cleaning agents off the cooktop with damp cloth, otherwise they can burn when the hob is turned on.

WARNINGS: If the display shows a warning message, follow the instructions below.
