Product Usage Instructions

Appliance Models
Appliance Use
This device has an automatic electronic ignition, so operating it is simple.
After the installation, commissioning, and checks to the appliance, it is
ready for use. To do this, simply turn the knob to the small or large flame
position or press the “ON/OFF” button (in the display version).
Open a hot water tap, and ignition will automatically occur, first of the
pilot and a few seconds later of the main burner.
If the gas has run out, it may be necessary to purge the gas line as this can cause incorrect combustion because air has entered the gas pipe. If this happens, close the hot water tap, repeat the device ignition process again, and open the hot water tap again. Repeat this process until the ignition process proceeds normally (meaning that the existing air has been completely purged).
The appliance has a safety device for combustion gases; if this device is activated, the appliance will switch off. If this happens, it is necessary to ventilate the area where the device is located, wait a few minutes, and turn the device on again.
ATTENTION: IF THE DEVICE SWITCHES OFF AGAIN, IT IS NECESSARY TO CALL A SPECIALISED AND QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN TO CHECK THE OPERATION AND INSTALLATION OF THE DEVICE.
Regulating Power and Water Flow
For less hot water: Adjust the knob to the smallest flame, reducing power
(button version). Reduce the temperature value on the display (display
version).
For warmer water : Adjust the knob to the largest flame, increasing power
(button version). Increase the temperature value on the display (display
version).
Greater water flow: Turn the tap on the cold-water inlet
counterclockwise. This procedure lowers the water temperature.
Lower water flow : Turn the tap at the cold-water inlet clockwise. This
procedure increases the water temperature.
ATTENTION: WATER AT A TEMPERATURE HIGHER THAN 50ºC CAUSES SERIOUS BURNS. ALWAYS CHECK THE WATER TEMPERATURE BEFORE USE.
Purge the Device
To purge the device, you must:
- Place the handle in the closed position, “• “(in the button version); Press the “OFF” key (in display version).
- Close the gas supply tap.
- Close the water supply tap, located at the cold-water inlet.
- Open a hot water tap until no more water comes out.
ATTENTION: FAILURE TO CARRY OUT THIS PROCEDURE, DUE TO THE RISK OF FREEZING, MAY DAMAGE COMPONENTS AND AFFECT THE WARRANTY. IF THIS HAPPENS, CONTACT A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN TO CARRY OUT THE REPAIR.
THIS PROCEDURE MUST BE CARRIED OUT TO HELP PREVENT FROST DAMAGE.
Batteries
Install 2 x LR20 1,5V batteries inside the battery box.
Replacement of batteries
When the red “LED” starts flashing, you must replace the existing batteries with new ones.
Replacement procedure:
- Open the battery compartment cover. Attention: there is no requirement to remove the front cover to change the batteries.
- Replace batteries and secure compartment cover.

REGULATIONS ARE FOLLOWED.
BEFORE MAKING THE CONNECTION, CHECK THAT THE UNIT IS THE CORRECT GAS TYPE, AND
THE GAS LINE HAS BEEN CORRECTLY PURGED
TO REMOVE ANY INSTALLATION DEBRIS THAT MIGHT HINDER CORRECT OPERATION.

Device Information
Gas water heaters are produced in accordance with current technical safety standards. However, in the event of inappropriate or incorrect use, danger to the life and physical integrity of the user or third parties may occur, as well as damage to the device and other property.
These devices are not intended for use by people individuals unless the person responsible for their safety supervises them and explains how to use the device in line with the manufacturer’s instructions.
These appliances are designed to produce hot water. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by improper use of the device.
Correct use of this device is deemed as the instructions provided for the service, installation, and maintenance of the device are followed and, if all inspection and maintenance are carried out at the correct intervals.
This device must be installed by a qualified technician and meet the current local regulations.
ATTENTION: ANY MISUSE OF THE DEVICE IS PROHIBITED.
Safety Instructions
The installation, adjustment, maintenance, and repairs of this device may only be carried out by a specialised and qualified technician.
Procedure in case of Gas Smell
In the event of a gas leak, there is a risk of poisoning and explosion. If you smell gas, take the necessary precautions, such as:
- Avoid prolonged exposure to gas.
- Avoid the formation of sparks and flames: Do not smoke, do not use lighters or matches. Do not activate any electrical switch, do not remove any plug. Do not call or ring doorbells.
- ISOLATE GAS AT THE EMERGENCY CONTROL VALVE.
- Open doors and windows to create a draft.
- Notify all inhabitants (by calling or knocking on doors) and leave the building. If in a multi-occupancy setting.
- Prevent third parties from entering the building.
- Outside the building: Call the fire department, the police, and the gas supply company’s emergency number.
Device Modification
It is prohibited to make changes to the Water Heater, which could jeopardize the operating safety of the device: the device itself; in the pipes for gas, water, and supply air; exhaust gas bypasses; and construction characteristics.
ATTENTION: ALWAYS CLOSE THE GAS TAP BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY REPAIRS ON THE APPLIANCE. THE INSTALLATION OF THE DEVICE MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN.
Installation location
Do not install the appliance in rooms with a volume of less than 8 m3 open
area. Install the water heater in a well-ventilated area, and where there is
an evacuation duct for burned gases in accordance with current regulations.
The wall where the appliance is installed must have a load capacity sufficient
to support the weight of the water heater in operation. The fixing elements
must be provided by the installer (specialized and qualified technician) in
accordance with the requirements of the installation wall.
Do not install the device in places with aggressive atmospheres or grease
vapors. It is prohibited to install the device over a heat source.
Respect the minimum installation measurements indicated in the image below:
The water heater must not be installed in a location where the ambient temperature may fall below 0ºC.
The diameter of the pipe connecting to the flue must not be smaller than that of the pipe connecting to the draft hood. After the draft hood, there must be a vertical segment at least half a meter long (500mm). The dimensions and installation of the flues and the tube connecting to them must comply with current standards.
The flue must have a diameter of 110 mm. If the flue passes through walls or furniture, it is necessary to thermally insulate the duct to ensure that the contact temperature is below 80ºC.
ATTENTION: THE CONNECTION OF THE FLUE TO THE CHIMNEY RING MUST BE SEALED WITH HIGH TEMPERATURE SEALANT.
As the surface temperature of the water heater does not exceed 80ºC, it is not necessary to take special protective measures for combustible materials and built-in furniture. Where the water heater is installed, there must be a minimum useful air intake area of 60 cm2.
DANGER: DANGER OF EXPLOSION IF THE WRONG TYPE OF GAS IS USED. BEFORE PUTTING THE APPLIANCE INTO OPERATION, COMPARE THE INFORMATION ON THE RATING PLATE RELATING TO THE TYPE OF GAS DEFINED WITH THE TYPE OF GAS IN THE LOCATION.

Gas Connection
DANGER : TO AVOID THE RISK OF GAS LEAKAGE, CHECK THE TIGHTNESS OF ALL CONNECTIONS AFTER COMPLETING THE WORK.
It is mandatory to comply with all applicable standards, in the country of installation, regarding gas connection.
- Confirm that the appliance to be installed is prepared for the type of gas supplied.
- Install a gas shut-off valve as close as possible to the gas inlet to the appliance.
- Confirm that the flow and pressure supplied by the installed reducer are those indicated for the appliance’s consumption.
Replace the tube before its expiration date, or when it becomes brittle or dry.
Connection to the Gas Supply
This connection should be carried out by a Registered Gas Engineer and in line with the correct standards.
Combustion Gas Sensor
ATTENTION: NEVER TOUCH, ALTER, OR DEACTIVATE THE COMBUSTION GAS SENSOR, RISK OF CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING
Leaks in the burner gas duct can lead to combustion gas leaks where the appliance is installed, which could result in personal injury or death. Check and ensure that the installed flue is leak tight.
Whenever maintenance or repair is required on the appliance, it is necessary to dismantle the combustion circuit, it is necessary to confirm the correct functioning of the burnt gas probe, to this end, the following check must be carried out:
- remove the flue from the appliance.
- place a 50 cm long tube in its place and block the end of it.
- ensure that this tube is vertical.
- connect the device to its rated power in the maximum position; the device must turn off within a maximum of 2 minutes.
- remove the tube and install the flue ensuring soundness check is carried out.
Gas Conversion
ATTENTION: NEVER TOUCH, ALTER, OR DEACTIVATE THE COMBUSTION GAS SENSOR, RISK OF CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING!
Only use the appliance with the type of gas for which it is designed.
To carry out gas type conversion, always use conversion kits approved by the manufacturer. This process can only be carried out by a registered gas engineer. Instructions for carrying out this process are provided along with the conversion kit. Before converting the gas type of the appliance, always check whether the supply conditions at the installation location are suitable for the appliance.
Maintenance to be Carried Out
After maintenance/repair of the device, ensure that the safety devices are correctly assembled and functioning correctly
ATTENTION: THE SAFETY DEVICE FOR DISCHARGING COMBUSTION PRODUCTS MUST NEVER BE DEACTIVATED OR MANIPULATED, AS THERE IS A RISK TO LIFE THROUGH INHALATION OF COMBUSTION GASES.
If it is necessary to replace any component, it must always be an approved and
supplied by the manufacturer, never use another type or brand.
After carrying out inspection/repair/maintenance work, the correct functioning
of the device must be checked to this end:
- put the device into operation.
- check whether the appliance has gas or water leaks and, if necessary, seal them.
- check that the burner is working and that the flame is uniform.
- check that all control and monitoring devices are well adjusted and working correctly.
Maintenance
For the unit to operate correctly, an authorized technician must perform an annual inspection, checking that:
- The control and safety devices (gas valve, etc.) operate correctly.
- The exhaust vent is perfectly efficient.
- The air and flue gas ducts and terminal are free of obstacles and leaks.
- The burner and exchanger are free of dirt and deposits. Do not use chemicals or steel brushes to clean them.
- The electrode is free of deposits and properly positioned.
- The gas and water systems are perfectly tight.
- The gas delivery and operating pressure values are as indicated on the tables.
A soft, damp cloth may be used to clean the casing and exterior parts of the heater, using soapy water if necessary. Do not use abrasive detergents or solvents.
ATTENTION: TO ENSURE CORRECT TIGHTNESS OF THE GAS CIRCUIT AND WATER
CIRCUIT, REPLACE ALL DISMANTLED SEALS WITH NEW ONES.
ATTENTION: AFTER ASSEMBLING THE COMBUSTION CIRCUIT, IT IS NECESSARY
TO CONFIRM THE CORRECT FUNCTIONING OF THE BURNED GAS PROBE. TO DO THIS, CARRY OUT THE CHECK DESCRIBED IN THE “COMBUSTION GAS SENSOR” CHAPTER.
Burner Cleaning
Check the condition of the burner annually and, if necessary, clean it using the above method.
Fault Finding
NOTE: if the error that appears on the display is not listed in the table below, contact the Technical Service.
ATTENTION: TO ENSURE CORRECT TIGHTNESS OF THE GAS CIRCUIT AND WATER CIRCUIT, REPLACE ALL DISMANTLED SEALS WITH NEW ONES.
