Hamilton Beach 41037 Electric Tea Kettle
The GoSports® Hook 21 ® game is a must-have for any game room! The game mounts to almost any wall and is made to fold up for play and down for storage providing endless fun without having to set it up each time.

Installation Instructions
2-Person Adult Installation Required – Installation should only be performed by trained professionals to ensure proper installation.
The game is designed to be permanently installed onto a flat wall, so be sure to choose a location that can be your designated game space. You will also want to be sure to choose a space with enough room for gameplay (6-8 feet away from the board). The installed game height should be tall enough that most people can walk under it, approximately 6′ -6.5′ from the arm of the game to the floor.
Wall Stud Mount (preferred method):
Locate the stud and mount it with two screws. Ensure the game is level and
at the desired height. Once the board is securely mounted, insert the Wood
Finishing Caps in the screw holes.
Drywall Mount:
Hold the game on the wall in the desired position and mark the wall for the
location of the drywall anchors. Install the drywall anchors and then attach
with the screws.
Game Setup
Now that your game board is mounted on the wall, you are ready to set up
the game to play.
- First, lift the arm of the board up until the lock button pops up signifying the arm is now locked.
- Next slide the wooden cross support into the groove on the board. This may take a little force to lock, but exercise care to prevent any parts from breaking.
How to Fold
Always make sure to fold the arm down when the game is not in use. Leaving the
arm up is a safety hazard that can cause injury if people walk into it, which
may also cause the game to break.
- To fold, first undo the wooden cross support.
- Next, hold onto the arm of the board and then push on the lock button. Fold the arm down and line it up so the hook goes through the arm.
Hook and Score Sliders
Screw the Hook into the hole located near the bottom of the game board. Ensure
the hook is facing up towards the ceiling once screwed in completely.
Clip on the Red and Blue Score Sliders on each side of the scoreboard labeled 0-21.
Ring Installation
On the end of the game arm, locate the two holes for the string. First, feed
the end of the string through the hole closest to the wall and then through
the second hole. Feed the end of the string into the cord lock to secure it.
Adjusting the Rope Length
- Having the rope at the correct length is very important for proper gameplay. Once the rope is attached to the arm, bring the ring towards the wooden gameboard so that the ring is touching the”21″ Logo on the board. With the tip of the ring touching the logo, tighten the rope to remove all slack.
- The rope may require further adjustment from time to time to ensure the ring can properly align with the hook.
How to Play
Swinging Tips – The aim is to make the ring onto the hook. It will be challenging, but that is part of the fun of Hook21®! Everyone will have their play style to hook the ring, but here are some recommended tips:
- The idea is to pull the ring back towards you in an arc and then release it to let the momentum of the ring swing toward the hook. Do not throw or toss the ring.
- Therefore we recommend pulling back on the ring until there is no slack
- Try releasing at a slight angle either to the left or right for a slight arc
- Do a few practice throws and see which style you prefer!
Hook 21® Game Rules
The basic gameplay is simple. To earn a point, a player must make the ring on
the hook. One point is awarded each time a player gets the ring on the hook.
- Each player alternates after 5 swings
- Move the score slider for each point scored
- The first player to 21 points wins!
Note
This game was designed for 2 players but can be played in teams.
Game Variations
- Best Out of 21 – This game is perfect when you want to play a quicker game. It is played with the standard rule of basic Hook 21 ®, but each player only receives 21 swings, and the player with the most hooked rings after 21 swings wins.
- Bull – This game is played just like Horse in basketball. The beginning player will choose a spot from which to try to hook the ring. If it lands on the hook, the next player must make the same shot. If the player misses, they earn a letter. The first player to receive all the letters of Bull loses.
