Using Your Radio
Power On/Off & using DAB Mode for the first time:
When using this machine, extend the antenna full for the best radio signal.
Press and hold STANDBY to turn on the Spitalfields radio to automatically
enter DAB mode. If this is the first time the Spitalfields has entered DAB
mode, it will automatically search for and store DAB stations in your local
area.
The radio will automatically synchronize the time and date with the stations
found. After the search has finished, Rotate the SKIP button to select the
station and press ENTER to confirm and play the station.
Press MODE to switch to FM mode, Press and hold ENTER button to
automatically search and save the station. When listening to a certain
station, Press SKIP + or SKIP – to switch to the saved station, Short
press ENTER to confirm the station. You can also press and hold PRESET
to save your favorite radio station, Short press PRESET to call up the
stored radio station list then Press SKIP + or SKIP – to select
the radio station, Pressing ENTER to confirm and play the selected
station.
Standby:
Press STANDBY to enter STANDBY while set to any playback mode. At this
time only show time clock and alarms set.
In Standby mode, You can press INFO/MENU to set the time, date, alarm and
other settings.
In the standby mode, Press STANDBY again to power the unit on again.
Charging:
The Spitalfields can be charged while either powered on or off, It is
recommended to use PC USB port or the supplied charger (The output is DC5V,
600mA) and use the attached USB cable for charging.
The indicator LED light is red when charging, The indicator light is green when the battery is fully charged.
You can use the Spitalfields and charge it at the same time.
Menu Settings:
In various playback modes, Press and hold INFO/MENU to enter into the menu
settings in this mode, Press SKIP + or SKIP – highlight a sub-menu
item, Press ENTER to confirm and enter, If there is only one sub-menu in
the sub-menu, press ENTER to confirm the highlighted option. To return to
the previous menu press INFO/MENU.
Manually setting the date and time:
If the Spitalfields does not find a strong enough signal to set the date and
time automatically, you can manually set them using the Time/Date menu.
Press and hold INFO/MENU or press and hold CLOCK &ALARM enter the main
menu selection, Press SKIP + or SKIP – to select Time/Date and
press ENTER.
Press SKIP + or SKIP – to select and adjust the Date, Press ENTER
to confirm and then repeat to set the Month, Year, Hour and Minute.
After you’ve set the date and time, the menu will automatically exit to the
previous menu and save your manual time and date setting.
Press” INFO/MENU” to return step by step, Or press and hold Info/Menu to
exit the menu.
Auto Update/Set 12/24 Hour/Set Date Format options:
Auto Update : Select Update From Radio or No Update
Set Hour System: Select 12Hour or 24Hour
Set Date Format: Select DD-MM-YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY
Alarm clock Settings
To set the alarm clock, Short press CLOCK &ALARM to enter the ALARM
setting interface;
Press SKIP + or SKIP – to select alarm 1 or alarm 2, 3 or 4 settings.
After selecting the desired alarm, Short press the ENTER and Press
SKIP + or SKIP – to select: Time / Source / Repeat / Volume / ON /
OFF setting options.
Time: Select the time by pressing SKIP + or SKIP -, and then
press ENTER to confirm
Source: FM, DAB or Buzzer.
Repeat: There are Once / Daily / Weekends / Workday options.
Volume: Select the volume value through pressing SKIP + or SKIP

Alarm ON/OFF : On/Off option; Press ENTER to confirm After setting,
Press
INFO/MENU to exit the alarm setting When the alarm sounds, The sound is
gradually increased to the set volume. Short press ENTER button to adjust
the snooze countdown time and activate the snooze function; Short press
STANDBY button to turn off the alarm when it is ringing.
DAB Function
If the Spitalfields enters DAB mode for the first time, The radio will
automatically search for radio stations in your local area; if the radio has
already searched for radio stations, Which can press and hold ENTER button
to automatically search for stations again.
After the station search is completed, Press SKIP + or SKIP – to move up and down the stations in the station list, Press ENTER to select the station; Rotate VOLUME to adjust the appropriate volume, Short press VOLUME to turn on mute, Then short press VOLUME mute off.
Short press the INFO/MENU to view the current radio information: text information, signal strength, program type, episode name, channel number/ frequency, signal error rate, bit rate, time and date etc.
Press and hold the PRESET to enter the radio station pre-store interface, Press SKIP + or SKIP – to move the pre-stored position up and down, Rotate “ SKIP” button and ENTER to pre-store the radio station to the current position, Short press the PRESET button to enter the radio station recall interface, And then Press SKIP + or SKIP – to select a pre- stored radio station, Press ENTER button to confirm and play; Which can also use the 0-9 number buttons on the remote control to select the pre- stored radio station for play.
Note: A total of 40 preset radio stations are pre-stored.
FM Function
Turn the Spitalfields on and switch to FM Radio Mode.
Pressing and holding ENTER can automatically searches for radio stations and saves them to the available stations list. Press SKIP + or SKIP – to highlight the saved radio stations and press ENTER to play the desired station.
Rotate VOLUME to adjust the appropriate volume, Push down VOLUME to
toggle mute on and off.
Short press INFO/MENU button to view information about the current
station, Text information, program type, set name, channel information, EQ
type, battery level, time and date.
Press and hold PRESET to enter the radio pre-store interface, Press SKIP + or SKIP – to move forward or After moving to the pre-stored position,
Short press ENTER to pre-store the radio station to the current position.
Short press PRESET to enter the radio station recall interface, Press
SKIP + or SKIP – to move the pre-stored position forward or backward,
Short press ENTER to recall the pre-stored radio station for playback;
Which can also use the 0-9 number button by remote control to pre-stored radio
station can be recalled and played.
Note: A total of 40 stations are pre-stored.
Using AUX
Use the MODE button to select AUX mode, making sure to have your audio
playing device connected via the AUX port.
Rotate VOLUME to adjust the appropriate volume, Short press VOLUME to turn on mute, and then short press VOLUME to turn off mute.
Playback USB (TF card)
Power Spitalfields on Press” MODE” button several times, When USB (or SD)
appears on the display (It will be enter USB mode or SD mode) At this time,
Which can play music by inserting USB flash drive (or Micro SD card) with MP3,
WAV, FLAC, WMA, APE format songs
Rotate VOLUME to adjust the volume, Short press VOLUME to toggle mute on and mute off.
Press SKIP + or SKIP – to switch Prev or next track Rotate and hold SKIP + or SKIP – to rewind and fast forward the song, Short press the ENTER to play or pause. Which can also use the 0-9 number by the remote control to select songs for playback.
During playback, Short press INFO/MENU to view the currently playing song information (song name, current track/total track, current playing time/total current track time, date, etc.).
Bluetooth Pairing /Playback:
Power on, Press MODE button to switch several times, Until entering BT
MODE, The “BT” icon in the upper left corner will light up, Then you will
hear a “beep” sound, indicating that Bluetooth is turned on and connected.
Using Bluetooth device, for example a mobile phone – Turn on the Bluetooth device on your phone, Then search for nearby Bluetooth devices, choosing “AZATOM Spitalfields” from the list of available devices. Once connected the Spitalfields will beep to let you know its ready to play music.
If you disconnect your music playing device (in this example, a phone) the Spitalfields will beep again to let you know it has been disconnected.
Press SKIP + or SKIP – to switch Prev or next track, Short press ENTER to play /pause, Rotate VOLUME to adjust the appropriate volume, Push down VOLUME to toggle mute on and mute off.
Press and hold ENTER button to disconnect from the mobile device.
