INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing the 3-in-1 Sports Centre!

Cheer on your little sports star with the 3-in-1 Sports Centre. Kick the football into the goal to hear fun sounds and throw the basketball into the hoop to score points. Then press the three shape buttons to learn about shapes, colours and more.

WARNING
All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks, removable tags, cable ties and packaging screws are not part of this toy, and should be discarded for your child’s safety.

NOTE
Please keep this parent’s guide as it contains important information.

WARNING
Do not aim the basketball, football and mini ball at eyes or face.

CAUTION:
Adult assembly required.
This package contains small parts. For your child’s safety, do not let your child play with the toy until it is fully assembled.

NOTE
If the balls become soft, inflate them with a standard, hand-operated air pump with a standard air needle (not included) until firm. Do not over-inflate the balls.

GETTING STARTED

Battery Removal and Installation

Instructions

Make sure the unit is turned Off.
Find the battery cover located on the back of the scoreboard and use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and open the battery cover.
Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery.
Install 3 new AA (LR6/AM-3) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box.
Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.

BATTERY NOTICE

Use new alkaline batteries or fully charged NI-MH (Nickel Metalhydride) rechargeable batteries for best performance.
Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable, or new and used batteries.
Do not use damaged batteries.
Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if removable).
Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.

Disposal of batteries and product

The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols on products and batteries, or on their respective packaging, indicates they must not be disposed of in domestic waste as they contain substances that can be damaging to the environment and human health.

The chemical symbols Hg, Cd or Pb, where marked, indicate that the battery contains more than the specified value of mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb) set out in Battery Directive (2006/66/EC).

The solid bar indicates that the product was placed on the market after 13th August, 2005.

Product Overview

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

With the 3-in-1 Sports Centre, safety comes first. Adult assembly required. For your child’s safety, do not let them play with this toy until it is fully assembled.

Insert the Goalie into the Top Support Piece at a slight angle. Press down on the opposite side. You will hear the pieces snap together when connected properly.
Insert the two Support Legs into the Top Support Piece. You will hear the pieces snap together when connected properly.
Insert the two Support Legs into the two Base Pieces. You will hear the pieces snap together when connected properly.
Insert the Football goal into the Top Support Piece. Next, slide the Football goal into the two Base Pieces. You will hear the pieces snap together when connected properly.
Insert the small screws and use a screwdriver to secure the Football net to the Top Support Piece and the two Base Pieces.
Insert the Scoreboard into the top of the Football goal. Press and turn the lock anticlockwise, insert the scoreboard and slide it up or down.
Insert the Basketball Net into the Scoreboard. You will hear the pieces snap together when connected properly.
Insert the Trophy and two Spinning Gears into the slots in the two Support Legs. You will hear the pieces snap together when connected properly.

Once you’ve completed the above steps, you are ready to play!

PRODUCT FEATURES

On/Off/Volume Selector

To turn the unit On, slide the On/Off/Volume Selector to the Low volume or the High volume position. You will hear a song, a phrase and fun sounds. To turn the unit Off, slide the On/Off/Volume Selector to the Off position.
Height Adjustable Scoreboard

The animated LED Scoreboard can be adjusted to two different heights. Press and turn the lock anticlockwise and slide, slide the scoreboard up or down.
Press and turn the lock clockwise to secure.
Automatic Shut-Off
To preserve battery life, the 3-in-1 Sports Centre will automatically power down after approximately 30 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button. The hoop sensor will not turn the unit back on.

NOTE
If the unit powers down or if the light fades out during play, please install a new set of batteries.

ACTIVITIES

Shape Buttons

Press the Shape Buttons to learn about shapes, colours and hear fun sports phrases. The Scoreboard will light up and play a variety of playful animations.
Basketball Hoop

Throw the Basketball into the Basketball Hoop to hear the points count from 1 to 10. After the net has counted to 10, it will play music notes before going back to counting. The Scoreboard will light up and play a variety of playful animations.
NOTE
The infrared light sensor in the Basketball Hoop is sensitive to sunlight. The sensor may not perform properly in brightly lit, sunny rooms or under direct sunlight.
Slam Dunk Basketball

Slam dunk the Basketball into the Basketball Hoop to hear fun cheering sounds and phrases. The Scoreboard will light up and play a variety of playful animations.
Football Goal and Goalie

Kick the Football into the Football Goal and hear a variety of playful sounds when you connect with the Goalie. The screen will light up and play a variety of playful animations.
Target Play

Throw the Mini Ball at the back of the scoreboard and hear a variety of playful sounds. The screen will light up and play a variety of playful animations.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat source.
Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.
Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.
The unit is surface washable. Remove the electronic module before wiping down the unit.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If for some reason the program/activity stops working, please follow these steps:

Turn the unit OFF.
Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
Turn the unit back ON. The unit will now be ready to play with again.
If the product still does not work, install a brand new set of batteries.
