PRO TECH Battery Powered String Trimmer
Assembly
Tools needed: 5mm Allen Wrench (included)

Find a clean fl at surface to work on.

Unfold the Trimmer Tube so that it is fully extended and the Tube Connector halves are together (Figure 1). Be careful not to pinch the wire that is inside the tubes.

Secure the Tube Connector with Tube Connector Knob.

Open the Clamp on the Sub Handle and place the Handle on to the Trimmer Shaft in front of the Switch Housing (Figure 2).

Close the Clamp and secure it with the Outer Bolt, Washer and Trigger Lock.

Adjust the Trigger Lock by threading it onto the bolt so that it is tight when clamped.

Remove the 5mm Allen Wrench from the storage area in the Battery Mount Shell (Figure 3).

Turn the Trimmer around. Set the Protective Cover onto the Mounting Post and secure with 4 Screws using a 5mm Allen Wrench (Figure 4).

Clip the Flower protector into the Mount Groove on the Trimmer Head with the Guard angled down (Figure 5).

Slide the Battery Pack into the Battery Cradle on the Trimmer Housing, aligning the ribs in the cradle with the slots in the Battery until it is latched into place (Figure 6).
How to Use

Hold the Sub Handle with one hand and the Switch Housing Handle with the other hand. With the hand that is on the Switch Housing Handle press the Auto-Lock button with your thumb and squeeze the Trigger Switch with your fingers (Figure 7). Once the mo-tor on the trimmer starts, you can remove your thumb from the Auto-Lock Button. If the trimmer does not start, check the battery connection and power status.

To stop the trimmer, release your fingers off the Trigger Switch.

The trimmer has 3 speed settings; Low, High, and Turbo for power and cutting control. To change the speed setting, move the Speed Push Button to the desired position.
