INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the Pop-a-Balls™ Pop & Count Ball PitTM! Playtime gets a boost with thirty balls and over three feet of space to play in. This interactive, animal-themed ball pit engages little ones in play and learning. Count, pop, slide and sing!

Quick Start Guide
WARNING
All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks, removable
tags, cable ties, cords and packaging screws are not part of this toy, and
should be discarded for your child’s safety.
NOTE
Please save this Instruction Manual as it contains important information.
Please stick the labels to the product securely as indicated below:
GETTING STARTED
Battery Removal and Installation
- Make sure the unit is turned Off.
- Locate the battery cover on the back of the electronic tree activity panel. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and open the battery cover.
- Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery.
- Install 3 new AAA batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.
WARNING:
Adult assembly required for battery installation.
Keep batteries out of reach of children.
IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION
- Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries.
- Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
- Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
- Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
- Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
- Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
- Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
- Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
With the Pop-a-Balls™ Pop & Count Ball Pit™, safety comes first. To ensure your child’s safety, adult assembly is required.

Attach the Basket to the Electronic Tree Activity Panel. You will hear the pieces snap together to indicate the parts are connected. Once the parts have been connected, they cannot be separated.

Insert the Electronic Tree Activity Panel to the Activity Tree Base. You will hear the pieces snap together to indicate the parts are connected. Once the parts have been connected, they cannot be separated.

Place the Activity Tree Base in the ball pit. Hook the two straps on either side of the Activity Panel Base.

Slide the Electronic Tree Activity Panel against the fabric wall. Locate the two slots on the back of the Electronic Tree Activity Panel and fasten it to the fabric wall using the Attachment Clip. You will hear the Attachment Clip snap into place when inserted correctly.

To fold up the collapsible ball pit for storage, remove the Activity Tree and put the Balls in the middle of the ball pit. Fold the panel opposite the tallest panel over the Balls then fold in the two sides. Tie the two Ties together.

On/Off/Mode Selector
To turn the unit On, slide the On/Off/Mode Selector to the Explore mode or the Music mode position. You will hear a song, phrase and sounds.
To turn the unit Off, slide the On/Off/Mode Selector to the Off position.

Automatic Shut-Off
To preserve battery life, the Popa-Balls™ Pop & Count Ball Pit™ will automatically shut off after approximately 50 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by sliding the On/Off/Mode Selector, pressing the Light-Up Buttons, twisting the Butterfly or sliding the Bird.
NOTE
If the unit powers down or the light fades out during play, please install a
new set of batteries.
ACTIVITIES

Basket
Drop the Balls into the Basket to hear the balls counted up to ten in Explore mode or hear fun sounds in Music mode. The lights will flash with the sounds.
NOTE
The infrared light sensors in the basket are sensitive to sunlight. The sensors may not perform properly in brightly lit, sunny rooms or under direct sunlight. -
Light-Up Buttons
Press the three Light-Up Buttons to learn about animals and colors and follow simple instructions in Explore mode. In Music mode, you will hear melodies and sing along songs and follow simple instructions. The lights will flash with the sounds. -
Bird
Slide the Bird to hear playful sounds, phrases and music. If there is a ball on the Leaf Ramp, slide the Bird to see the ball slide down the Leaf Ramp and through the basket. The lights will flash with the sounds. -
Butterfly
Twist the Butterfly to hear playful sounds and phrases in Explore mode. In Music mode you will hear short tunes and melodies. If there is a ball on the Leaf Ramp, twist the Butterfly to see the ball slide down the Leaf Ramp and through the basket. The lights will flash with the sounds.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
- Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
- Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat sources.
- Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.
- Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the unit stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps:
- Turn the unit Off.
- Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
- Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
- Turn the unit On. The unit should now be ready to use again.
- If the unit still does not work, install a new set of batteries.
