Short Description

The Saxon EQ3 Mount with Steel Tripod is the ideal and recommended entry equatorial mount for avid astromoners who want to enjoy accurate manual tracking of the night  sky or may want to start their journey into basic astro imaging.
This mount is ideally suited to a 90 – 100mm refractor, 150DS Saxon reflector or even a 150mm SCT OTA.
The EQ3 is great quality and comes with a 3 year limited warranty.
The EQ3 is great for beginners or for the astronomer that likes to travel with a light kit, but needs the precision and stability needed for serious observing.

Description

This EQ3 mount includes a built-in holder for polar scope (not included), a latitude adjuster with micrometer scale, an azimuth polar-alignment adjuster, aluminium setting  circles, large manual slow-motion tracking controls, bubble level and steel tubular tripod legs.

The Saxon EQ3 Mount with Steel Tripod features and includes the following:

  • One 3.5Kg counterweight
  • One 1.8Kg counter weight
  • Wall-to-wall large accessory tray
  • 1.75″ stainless steel tripod legs
  • Maximum rated payload capacity of 6Kg
