Product Description
The ZWO Mini Guide Scope 30mm F4 is a lightweight guide scope compatible
with all ASI cameras. It is designed to assist in guiding the telescope during
astrophotography, ensuring accurate tracking and minimizing star trails.
Product Usage Instructions
Mounting the Guide Scope
To mount the guide scope, follow these steps:
- Identify a suitable location on your telescope for mounting the guide scope.
- Attach the dovetail base of the guide scope to the telescope using the appropriate mounting hardware.
- Ensure that the guide scope is securely attached and aligned with the main telescope’s optical axis.
Adjusting the Back Focus
The back focus of the guide scope can be adjusted to achieve optimal focus with your camera. Follow these steps to adjust the back focus:
- Loosen the back focus locking mechanism located near the rear of the guide scope.
- Gradually adjust the back focus by rotating the back focus ring. Test the focus by capturing sample images and making fine adjustments as needed.
- Once the desired focus is achieved, tighten the back focus locking mechanism to secure the adjustment.
