Product Usage Instructions
1. Compass
The digital compass feature allows you to determine your direction accurately. To use the compass:
- Hold the TrekGuide horizontally and wait for the compass display to stabilize.
- Read the direction indicated by the arrow on the display.
2. Barometric Altimeter
The barometric altimeter measures your altitude based on atmospheric pressure. To use the altimeter:
- Ensure the TrekGuide is calibrated to the current sea level pressure for accurate altitude readings.
- Press the ALT button to activate the altimeter mode.
- Read the altitude displayed on the screen.
3. Clock
The clock function allows you to keep track of time during your outdoor activities. To set the clock:
- Press and hold the SET button until the hour digits start flashing.
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
- Press the SET button to confirm and move to the minute digits.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set the minutes, month, day, and year.
4. Thermometer
The thermometer provides temperature readings in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. To use the thermometer:
- Press the TEMP button to activate the thermometer mode.
