SAFETY & WARNINGS

User Safety Instructions

  • To avoid any possible hearing damage, keep the volume at a moderate level.
  • Avoid listening to music at loud volume levels for prolonged periods, as this may cause permanent hearing damage or hearing loss.
  • Please be aware of the surroundings and do not use the earphones while driving, cycling, running or jogging or when doing any activity which requires your attention and ability to hear.

Product Safety Warning

  • For best results and long battery life, please disconnect the USB cable after
    charging is complete.

  • Please use an AC adaptor with max output voltage and current of 5V/1A. If the
    output voltage and current of the charger exceed the recommended power, it may cause severe damage to the product and void the product warranty.

  • Use original charging cable for charging the charging case.

  • Charge the earphones and the charging case at least once every 6 months, for the good life cycle of the product.

  • Don’t jam the ports of the earbuds, such as charger port, LED port and microphone (etc)

  • Store in a cool and dry place, Keep away from hot and humid conditions.

  • The battery is designed to the last lifecycle of the product. It should only be
    removed by a recycling facility. And attempt to remove or replace the batteries will damage the product and void the warranty.

OPERATION

Wearing method

  • Gently insert the earphones into the ear then adjust the appropriate comfort.
  • Try different sized ear caps for a comfortable fit and good sound performance.
    Choose the ear caps that seal your ear canal properly for good sound performance.
    You may need different sized ear caps for left and right.

Basic function

Power on/off

  • To power on the earphones simply remove the earphones from the charging case, earphones will automatically turn ON if they are charged.
  • To power off the earphones put the earphones back in the charging case. To power off without the chase, hold the MFB for 7 seconds.
  • If earphones are power off outside the case, touch and hold MFB button for 3 seconds on both sides to turn them on.
  • Turn on both earphones, the indicator lights flash white and then turn white for 2 seconds; when the right earbud indicator starts flashing white, and the left earbud indicator is off, the product is ready for use.

Bluetooth connection

  • Turn on the Bluetooth function on your device and search for “Kogan AT6
    Earphones” in the Bluetooth menu. Select “Kogan AT6 Earphones” from the list of available devices. If the right earbud indicator light turns white for 1 second, pairing is successful.

  • Pairing mode lasts 180 seconds. If you do not begin connection in that time, you need to restart the device and repeat the steps to reattempt.

  • Once the connection is successful, you can start using the earphones.

  • To disconnect, simply put the earphones back in the charging case and the earphones will automatically disconnect from any paired devices.

  • To reconnect the earphones with the same device, simply remove the earphones
    from charging case and the earphones will automatically connect to your device. (Make sure that the Bluetooth is turned on the device). To stops the earphones to auto-connect to any device, delete the earphones from the Bluetooth menu of that device.

  • To enjoy calls, music and audio output from your device to the earphones, make
    sure that the media connection for both calls and media files is activated in the Bluetooth menu.

  • Note: The earphones will lose the connection when deviate the working range of Bluetooth. The earphones will reconnect automatically if you come back to the range in 3 minutes.

Answering incoming calls

  • Short press left or right MFB to answer incoming calls.
  • If already on a call, with an incoming call:
    • Short press left/right MFB once to keep the current phone call and answer incoming calls
    • Long press left/right MFB for 2 seconds to refuse the incoming call
    • In the three-way call, short press left or right MFB to realize two mobile phone calls switch over.
    • Long press left/right MFB for 2 seconds, hang up the current call and connect the maintained call.

End the call

  • Touch and hold the left or right MFB for 2 seconds to end the current call.

Decline incoming calls

  • Touch and hold the left or right MFB for 2 seconds to reject a call.

Call switch mode

  • When calling, double tap the left or right MFB to switch audio output between phone and earphones.

One key for voice assistant

  • Double tap the left or right MFB to activate voice assistant.

Music playing

  • Play/Pause: tap the left or right MFB once

Active Noise Cancellation function (ANC function)

  • Touch and hold the left or right MFB for 2 seconds each time, the function will
    switch as follows with voice prompts.

  • When the prompt “ANC on” can be heard, the ANC function is switched on and the monitor function (listening to ambient noise) is switched off.

  • When the prompt “ding ding” is heard, the ANC function is switched off and the monitor function is switched on.

  • When the “ANC off” prompt is heard, the ANC function and the monitor function are switched off.

Mono mode (Single earbud use)

  • Note: Single channel mode only needs to remove one of earbuds from the charging case. If two earbuds are removed from the case before connection, the earbud will be used in bilateral channel mode by default.
  • Take out an earbud from charging case, the earbud will automatically turn on and reconnect to previously connected devices.
  • To switch from one earbud to the other when playing music, remove the second earbud from the charging case. The two earbuds will connect automatically. Put the first earbud (the one you no longer wish to use) into the charging case and the switching process completes.

Restore factory settings

  • If the earbuds cannot pair or disconnect frequently, please restore the factory
    settings.

  • Place the earbuds in the charging case, leave the lid of the charging case open,
    then touch and hold the left and right MBF for 5 seconds. When the earbuds Indicators turn orange for 3 seconds, the reset is completed.

Charging

Case:

  • Charge the case using the Type-C cable connected to a computer or wall charger.
    The indicator at the front of the charging case flashes white when charging and turns white when fully charged. Charging time is approximately 2 hours

Earphones:

  • Low battery will be warned by voice prompt.
  • Put the earbuds back into the charging case for charging. While charging, the
    indicators flash white. Once full charge, the white lights turn off. The number of lights indicates the charging case battery status when the earbuds are placed in the case.
