Data transmission is handled by software. Via software, it can define the
rule. When the equipment has no data to transmit, only the control frame will
be sent (like 802.11
management frame, such as beacon and probe Response). When failing to operate,
it will stop the service automatically

Note: Industry Canada has been renamed Innovation, Science, and Economic
Development Canada (ISED) following the issue of RSP-100 Issue 11 and DC-01
Issue 06. Equipment certifications previously issued by Industry Canada remain
valid and do not require updating. Meaning you may see the names used
