PIR: Passive Infrared sensor that detects heat energy and can differentiate between an animal and a human shape

Battery mode on/off switch: On: Turns on battery mode. Off: Turns off battery mode.

Built-in microSD™ card slot: supports local storage for a card of up to 128GB

Micro USB port: charge the camera’s battery through this port. It is recommended to always charge it at 100%. Also provides the alternative to plug the device to an electrical outlet.
While the camera’s battery is charging, the LED light turns on white. Once it is fully charged, the LED light turns off and a notification is received in the Nexxt Home app indicating that the camera’s battery is fully charged and ready to be mounted again. -
Sync button: press and hold this button for 5 seconds to reset the camera

Inserting the microSD™ card
Gently insert the microSD™ card (up to 128GB) into the slot. The camera will automatically recognize the inserted memory card when it powers on.
Mounting location
First choose the location t o mount the smart camera, preferably one that
offers the best viewing angle and wireless reception.
The illustrations below show the optimal field of view o f the camera, when
mounted vertically o r horizontally.
Installation
You can place the camera on a shelf or other flat surface, or you can mount it
on the wall.
Mounting your camera on the wall
Select a location to install the camera. The camera should be installed a t
least 7 feet above the floor or ground for best motion sensor performance.
Tilt and aim slightly downwards to ensure an effective detection range of up
to 26ft away from the mounting location, Place the camera on the wall and
secure it using the 3 screws and 3 concrete anchors provided.
You may connect the power to the camera by using the Micro USB power adapter (5V/2A max.)
Installing the Nexxt Home App
Download the Nexxt Home app from Google Play or Apple App Store and create anewaccount .
Register by email. Fillin the required fields.

Enter the verification code you received.| Create a new password and then
select Done.

The Nexxt Home account has been successfully configured.| Assign a home name
and a family location. Then click on Save.
Add device

Select the + icon o r the Add device, button to add the device, followed by
the Smart Camera icon.| Power on the smart camera and wait for the power-on
tone, once it is heard, the LED begins to blink i n red. Click on Next.

You must connect to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. Enter your network password. Make
sure you enter the correct password, otherwise the device will not connect.|
Scan the QR code from your mobile device with the smart camera. Once you hear
the tone, click on the | heard a prompt button.
I f you experience any issues, reset the camera. If a Registered account added
the camera through the app, then another user will be prevented from setting
up that camera in a different account, unless permission is granted through
the share access option.

It will take around 30 seconds to pair the camera depending on the Wi-Fi
connection.
If pairing is successful, the Notification Added will be displayed on the
screen. The device has been added as Smart battery camera.| To rename the
device, click on the pencil icon on the screen, enter a different name, and
click Save
The device is now ready to be configured through the Camera Settings menu.

| Battery information: Indicates the power remaining in the batteries
| Cloud storage: Users can set up an account to store footage in the cloud.
| Night vision: Displays and records infrared images.
| Siren: Sounds an alarm to alert of a person inside the camera’s field of
view.
Menu settings
Battery camera
It allows the user to rename the device, To change the default name, click on Device Name. You may also change the icon and location.
Device information
This menu will display information about the camera.
Basic function settings
Flip screen: Flips the image 180 degrees if the camera is mounted upside down.
Time watermark: Enables and disables the time and date stamp shown on the
recorded videos.
Talk mode: Allows either one-way or two-way speech.
Night Vision:
Set the infrared night vision in auto, off, or on.
Motion detection settings
Motion detection settings: Turns the motion detection feature on and off. Sets
up a space o f time between alarms.
Changes the sensitivity between L o w , Medium, or High.
Activates or deactivates image filtering to differentiate between animal and
human shapes.
Cloud storage purchase options
Cloud storage: Provides the option to purchase a selection of cloud storage services.
Power management settings
Power management settings :Displays the battery percentage. Configure the percentage on which the low battery alarm a ctivates .

Total capacity: Shows the capacity of the microSD™ card.
Used: Shows how much memory has been used.
Remaining capacity :
Shows how much space is left on the microSD™ card.
Local recording: Activates video recording on the memory card.
Schedule: Sets upa schedule to turn local recording on and off.

Will send a notification if the device remains offline over 30 minutes.
Share device
Additional users will need their own Nexxt Home account .
Select Add sharing and then enter the Region and the e-mail address of family
or friends . Tap on Save.

Write feedback: Please let u s know if you have any issues setting up the
product.
Firmware information: We will sometimes add new features or provide updates
witha new firmware upgrade .
Remove device: Remove the camera from your account.
Tap on Confirm when done.
