Product Usage Instructions
Setting Up the Solar PTZ Camera
- Mount the camera using the provided bracket and screws.
- Connect the power cable to the camera.
- Ensure the camera is in a location with ample sunlight for the solar panel to charge.
- Turn on the camera using the on-off key.
Connecting to Tuya Smart App
- Download and open the TuyaSmart App on your smartphone.
- Register and log in to your account.
- Click on the “+” icon on the top right corner of the page and select “Add Device.”
- Choose “Smart Camera (Wi-Fi)” and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your camera to the app.
- Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password (2.4GHz only).
- Scan the QR code on your phone with the camera.
- Wait for the prompt tone and click “I Heard a Prompt” to complete the setup.

Process
- Solar panel: connect the panel to the camera, fix a suitable angle with screws
- SD card installation: open the silicon flap and insert the SD card, then make sure to close the silicon flap to avoid rain leakage.
- insert the TF card, then tighten the screws. Power cable: connect the cables between the panel and camera, then tighten the waterproof cap.
- Panel power-on: Remove the rubber of the panel, and make sure it is powered on. Then put the rubber back on the panel.

APP INSTALLATION

Search and download ” Tuya Smart” in major application markets or scan the QR code below to download the APP.

Once you download the APP to your smartphone, you may enter the first page which you can log in with your existing account or register.

( If you are a new user of Smart Life and don’t have an account, please choose register first and follow the below screenshots to complete the registration. )

If you have an existing account, there are two ways to log in, one is with an SMS verification Code, and the other one is with a password. In case you forget the password, you may choose to log in with an SMS verification Code or you can choose forgot password to reset it by Entering the Verification Code which is sent to your mobile via message. )

Once the account has been set up successfully, then you will automatically enter the page “add device”, kindly follow the below steps to add the camera.
Step1
- Open the TuyaSmart APP, click”+” on the top right corner of the page “HOME”, then select “Add Device”. Select camera & Lock
- Then select smart camera (Wi-Fi)
- Follow the steps in the APP to reset the camera.
- Select “QR code for camera” to add your device by QR code.
- Check the prompt then click “Next”
Step2
- Select your “Wi-Fi Network Name” and then Password, and then click OK.
- The product only supports 2.4GHz WiFi.
- Scan the QR Code on your phone with a camera. Heard a prompt tone, then click “I Heard a Prompt”.
- Connecting Device, make sure the camera device is near the router, added successfully click on Done. You will get to the home page.
Step3. If you choose ” the other mode” on the top of the right side, you may find QR Code Net-pairing Which you will go back to the “Add device” page and process it again like the above procedure. Or you can choose “Smart configuration” and follow the below screenshots and after that, you will see the device added successfully.

Can I share with family and friends?
Yes, you can share your cameras with family and friends who will have access to view the camera and control your bulbs, plugs, and other devices. In the app, click the Family name at the top and click on the“Home Management” button, and you will be able to give or revoke sharing permissions.
In order to share, the other user should already have downloaded the app and registered a new account. -
What’s the Wireless Range?
The range of your home Wi-Fi is heavily dependent on your home router and the conditions of the room. Check with your router specifications for exact range data. -
How many cameras can I control?
Tuya Smart app can control an unlimited amount of devices in an unlimited amount of locations. Your router may have a limit on how many devices can be connected to one router. -
My device can’t be connected to a network with the App
- Make sure the device is under the config status (indicator light is flashing quickly).
- Make sure the Wi-Fi is available and the device is not far away from the router.
- Make sure the Wi-Fi password you input is correct.

My device shows offline in my App
- Make sure the device is powered on.
- Make sure the network is stable and the Wi-Fi name and password are not modified.
- If not, add the device again. If the network is normal, but it’s still offline.
- Check if there are too many Wi-Fi connections. You can restart your router to check the status of the device.

My phone cannot be added as a device
First, confirm that the device is turned on normally and the WI-FI signal is 2.4GHZ. If you still cannot connect, please press and hold the reset button at the bottom of the device for 12 seconds. After hearing the voice prompt, wait for 10 seconds and the device will restart. See The device prompt light flashes red and green, just connect to the phone again!
