STEALTH CAM Digital Scouting Camera DS4KU Firmware Update
DS4KU Firmware Update Version V01.00.29
Note: It is recommended to perform the software update using new batteries.
Loss of battery power during the software update may cause the camera to be
non-operational.
- Download the DS4KU-01.00.29.zip file.
- Unzip the file.
- Copy the Software Update File AICAM.BRN to the root directory of an SD Card.
- Place the SD Card into the SD Card slot of the camera.
- Move the switch to the ON position to power up the camera.
- Press MENU to enter the menu selection.
- Press the Up Arrow twice to select the SW UPGRADE menu item.
- Press the ENTER button then the UP button to change the selection to YES.
- Press the ENTER button to start the upgrade process.
- The upgrade process takes approximately 2 minutes to complete. The screen will display software upgrade text during the update (see Figure 1)
Warning: Do not turn camera off or eject battery tray during the software upgrade process. Loss of power to the camera may cause damage. - Once the update is complete, the LCD screen will briefly turn off and the camera should automatically reboot to the main screen and be ready to use.
