Transform this agile Pterodactyl into speedy race car and back in just a few simple steps. 60+ sounds and phrases, cool LED effects and an animated LCD screen bring the action to life in your very own dino universe.

WARNING

All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks, removable tags, cable ties, cords and packaging screws are not part of this toy, and should be discarded for your child’s safety.

GETTING STARTED

Exit Try-Me Mode:

To exit try-me mode, need to wake up the unit first, then transform from Dino mode to Vehicle Mode. Normal play mode will then proceed.

WARNING:

Adult assembly required for battery installation.
Keep batteries out of reach of children.

Battery Removal and Installation

  1. Make sure the unit is turned Off.
  2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and then open the battery cover.
  3. If a used batteries is present, remove this batteries from the unit by pulling up on one end of the battery.
  4. Install 2 new AA (AM-3/LR6) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. (For best performance, alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended).
  5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.

Getting Started

IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION

  • Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).

  • Do not mix old and new batteries.

  • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries.

  • Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.

  • Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.

  • Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.

  • Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.

  • Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
    RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES

  • Remove rechargeable batteries (if removable) from the toy before charging.

  • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.

  • Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.

HOW TO SWITCH

  1. Begin in Dino mode.

  2. Flip the DIno’s feet backward.

  3. Swing the wings down so that they are parallel to the unit.

  4. Close the dino’s beak.

  5. Flip the black hood pieces on the underside of the wings outward.

  6. Flip the wing tips forward.
    How To Switch

  7. Fold the wings in, then push them down.

  8. Snap the wings’ side panels down and swing the legs forward.

  9. The unit is now in Vehicle mode.

PRODUCT FEATURES

  1. Power Switch
    To turn the unit On or to adjust the volume, slide the switch to the Low or High Volume position. To turn the unit Off, slide the switch to the Off position.

  2. Head Button
    In Dino mode, press the Head Button to learn fun Dino facts and cool dinosaur sounds. A light projection will accompany the response. In the Vehicle mode, press the Head Button to hear fun phrases and great vehicle sounds.

    Press the Action Button to hear cool sound effects.

  4. LCD Screen
    The LCD Screen shows dino eye animations in Dino mode and shows driver animations in Vehicle mode.

  5. LED Lights
    The LED Lights flash along with the sounds in Dino mode and Vehicle mode.

  6. Automatic Shut-off
    To preserve battery life, Switch & Go® Pterodactyl Dragster will automatically power down after several seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing the Head Button or Action Button. The unit will also automatically turn off when battery power is very low.

Notes: If the unit repeatedly powers down or has abnormal responses when the unit is switched on, please insert new batteries and try switching it on again.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

  1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
  2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat sources.
  3. Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.
  4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If for some reason the unit stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps:

  1. Turn the unit Off.
  2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
  3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
  4. Turn the unit On. The unit should now be ready to use again.
  5. If the unit still does not work, replace with a new set of batteries.
