General Information

1. Tournament Dates: July 27th and 28th, 2024
2. Venue: SBA Badminton Court, Kuala Lumpur
3. Organizer: VRISER Sports
4. Categories:
   • Under-10 years (Boys)
   • Under-12 years (Boys)
   • Under-15 years (Boys)
   • Under-18 years (Boys)
   • Under-22 years (Boys)
   • Under-10 years (Girls)
   • Under-12 years (Girls)
   • Under-15 years (Girls)
   • Under-18 years (Girls)
5. Total Participants: 171 players are registered

Registration

1. Players must provide proof of age at the time of registration. IC is must.
2. No manual entry will be accepted at last minute. Players who have registered for the tournament through the official VRISER Sports website or designated registration form will alone be considered
3. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and will close once the maximum number of participants is reached.
4. Registration will be open by 7:30am on Saturday (July 27th) morning. Please you’re your designated time of your match. If respective player’s matches starts later then they can arrive accordingly. Whatsoever, all players should visit Registration desk 1 hour prior to their designated match.

Match Format And Rules

Match Format

Preliminary Rounds:

• All matches will be played to 30 points in a two sets.

Semi-Finals and Finals:

• Matches will be played to 21 points

Match Rules

1. The tournament will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Badminton World Federation (BWF), except where otherwise specified.
2. Players failing to arrive within 30 minutes of the scheduled time will forfeit the match. 4.3. Appropriate sports attire and non-marking shoes must be worn on the court. Vriser Sports’ Jerseys will be given to all players and it is supposed to be worn during the match.
3. Players are responsible for bringing their own badminton rackets.

Umpire And Appeals

1. The decision of the umpire is final in all matters.
2. Any disputes or appeals must be made immediately after the match to the tournament referee.
3. The tournament referee’s decision on appeals is final.

Awards And Prizes

1. Championship awards will be presented to the winners of each category.
2. Certificates of participation will be given to all players.
3. Additional prizes may be awarded at the discretion of the organizers.

Code of Conduct

1. Players are expected to display good sportsmanship and respect towards opponents, umpires, and officials.
2. Any form of misconduct, including abusive language, will result in immediate disqualification from the tournament.

Health And Safety

1. Players must ensure they are in good health and fit to participate.
2. VRISER Sports will not be responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur during the tournament. Our Medical staff will be available at the venue for any emergency aids.
3. First aid will be available at the venue.

Miscellaneous

1. VRISER Sports reserves the right to amend the rules and regulations as necessary.
2. Any changes will be communicated to participants promptly.
