JENSEN Firmware Update for Desktop, PC or Laptop Instructions

Firmware Update Instruction
NOTE: There are 2 parts to this firmware update.
You will need a formatted USB Thumb Drive to complete the update.

1. Download the firmware update onto your desktop of your PC or laptop.
2. Unzip the downloaded file and you will see the below folder on your desktop.
3. Find the updated firmware file

1. MCU Update Firmware File : Download/sppf_mcu32
2. CPU Update Firmware File : ISPBOOOT/ISPBBOOOT_UPDATE
   Part 1 – CPU Firmware Update
   

4. Select only the updated CPU firmware file and copy (ISPBOOST/ ISPBOOST_Update File) it to the USB Thumb drive.
5. Insert the USB Thumb Drive with CPU Firmware into the Rear USB Port while the power of the CAR1000 Unit is off.
6. When ACC is turned on, after a while, the update screen is displayed automatically and the CPU firmware is updated.
7. After completing the firmware update, if the Main Menu GUI screen appears, remove the USB Thumb Drive. Part 2 – MCU Firmware Update
8. Select only the updated MCU firmware file and copy(Download/sppf_mcu32) it to the USB Thumb drive.
9. Insert the USB Thumb Drive with MCU Firmware into the Rear USB Port while the power of the CAR1000 Unit is off.
10. After ACC Power On, after a while, the following Bar is displayed and the firmware update is performed.
11. When MCU Firmware Update is completed and displayed on the screen as shown below, press the OK Icon. In 10 seconds, you can remove the USB Thumb Drive from the unit.

Checking the Firmware Version

1. Press the Setting icon on the Main Menu screen
2. Touch the OTHERS to the right of the Version text in the Settings menu as shown below.
3. Touch the System Version to the right of the Version text in the Settings menu as shown below.
4. If your receiver displays the below updated firmware versions, than your receiver is now up to date.
