Installation
Warning: Connect the Universal Power Adapter after all the other
installation steps have been completed.
Notes: There are two ways to power the Hub.
It is recommended to use an external DC Power Source or a Terminal Block Power
Source (+7 – 24V DC) connected to the 2-Wire Terminal Block to ensure full and
stable function.
Connect the USB Ports
1. Connect a USB Type-C to Type-C Cable (included) to the USB-C Host Port on
the rear of the Hub and to a USB-C Port on the Host Computer.
2. The Host Computer’s Operating System should detect the Hub and
automatically install it.
3. Connect the USB Peripheral Devices to the USB-C Port and the USB-A Ports
(x3) on the front of the Hub.
Power the Hub
Power the Hub Using the 2-Wire Terminal Block
1. Remove the Terminal Block Connector Housing from the rear of the Hub’s
Casing.
2. Loosen the screws for the Terminals on the Terminal Block Connector, using
a Phillips or Flat Head Screwdriver.
3. Connect the Power and Ground Wires from the DC Power Source (+7 – 24V DC)
to the Terminals on the Terminal Block Connector, the Terminals are marked on
the Hub’s Casing.
Note: Ensure the polarity of the input power is correctly matched with
the Terminal Block Pins to ensure proper function.
4. Insert the Terminal Block Connector Housing back into the rear of the Hub.
Power the Hub Using the Universal Power Adapter
Connect the Universal Power Adapter to the Power Input Port on the rear of
the Hub and to an AC Electrical Outlet.
Wall Mounting
Note: It is recommended that Wall Studs are used when wall mounting this Hub.
1. Hold the Hub in the desired mounting location.
2. Mark the location of the Mounting Holes, using a Writing Utensil.
3. Draw a line connecting the two Mounting Holes, using a Level.
4. Hold the Hub in the desired mounting location, aligning the Mounting Holes
on the sides of the Hub with the Mounting Hole Marks created in step 2.
5. Insert the Mounting Screws (x 2) through the Wall Mounting Holes and into
the Wall.
6. Tighten the Mounting Screws until the Hub is securely fasten to the Wall,
using a Phillips Head Screwdriver.
