BEFORE USING THE DEVICE, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY AND CAREFULLY. CORRECT APPLICATION IS VITAL TO THE PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THE DEVICE.
INTENDED USER PROFILE:
The intended use should be a licensed medical professional, the patient, or
the patient’s caregiver.
The user or caregiver should be able to read, understand and be physically
capable of performing all the directions, warnings, and cautions provided in
the information for use.
INTENDED USE/INDICATIONS: The Procare Industrial Back Support is designed
to provide comfort and support of the lumbar spine. It may be suitable for the
symptomatic relief of acute and chronic low back pain.
Soft-good/semi-rigid designed to restrict motion through elastic or semi-rigid
construction.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: If you have skin disorders/injuries in the relevant
part of the body, the product should be fitted and worn only after
consultation with a medical professional.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:
- For maximum efficacy, ensure the correct size of the strap is selected and the side pulls are adjusted to the required fit.
- If you experience any pain, swelling, changes in sensation, or other unusual reactions occurring while using this product, you should contact your medical professional immediately.
- Do not use over open wounds.
- Do not use this device if it was damaged and/or the package has been opened.
NOTE: Contact manufacturer and the competent authority in case of a serious incident arising due to usage of this device.
APPLICATION INFORMATION:
- Center support on the lower back. Pull the waistbands over the hips and secure in front forming a “V” below the navel. This is a neutral position. (Fig. 1)
- When performing physical tasks in supports with double side pulls, grasp outer straps with both hands, stretch forward, and secure.
Upon completion of the task, release outer straps and return to the neutral position. (Fig. 2)
For optional shoulder strap use, attach to support with suspender buckles in
front.
Adjust suspenders for comfort and fit.
CAUTION: Support should be worn as directed, never wear unfastened.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS: **

Hand washes in cold water with mild detergent. Air dry. Avoid direct heat or
sun.
WARRANTY: DJO, LLC will repair or replace all or part of the unit and its
accessories for material and workmanship defect for a period of six months
from the date of sale.
