PROCARE Pre-Vent Ulnar Nerve Protector
BEFORE USING THE DEVICE, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY AND CAREFULLY. CORRECT APPLICATION IS VITAL TO THE PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THE DEVICE.
INTENDED USER PROFILE: The intended user should be a licensed medical professional, the patient, or the patient’s caregiver. The user should be able to read, understand and be physically capable of performing the directions, warnings, and cautions in the information for use.
INTENDED USE/INDICATIONS: Provides cushioned support for patient limb.
Traps fluids from patients prevent pooling on O.R. surface area and expedite
post-operative clean-up.
May be used post-operatively as an insulated positioner for cryotherapy
applications.
PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS: Soft-good/ semi-rigid designed to restrict
motion through elastic or semi-rigid construction.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: NONE
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:
- If you have skin disorders/injuries in the relevant part of the body, the product should be fitted and worn only after consultation with a medical professional.
- Discontinue use when torn, worn, frayed, or damaged in any way.
- Always inspect the product prior to application to ensure all parts are in proper working order.
- Do not use over open wounds.
- If pain, swelling, changes in sensation, or other unusual reactions occur while using this product, you should contact your doctor immediately.
- Do not use this device if it was damaged and/or the packaging has been opened.
NOTE: Contact the manufacturer and the competent authority in case of a serious incident arising due to the usage of this device.
APPLICATION INFORMATION:

Open straps on the protector with the white interface lining side up. Position the patient’s arm so the Elbow rests on the center of the protector.

Bring straps over the patient’s arm and attach straps to hook tabs. Protector is now secure.

Place the arm in the desired position.
WARRANTY: DJO, LLC will repair or replace all or part of the unit and its
accessories for material or workmanship defects for a period of six months
from the date of sale.
