BEFORE USING THE DEVICE, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY AND CAREFULLY. CORRECT APPLICATION IS VITAL TO THE PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THE DEVICE.
INTENDED USER PROFILE
The intended user should be a licensed medical professional, the patient, the patient’s caretaker, or a family member providing assistance. The user should be able to read, understand and be physically capable to perform all the directions, warnings and cautions provided in the information for use.
INTENDED USE/INDICATIONS
The DonJoy OA Reaction Trifit Web is designed to support the knee. It may be suitable for those who suffer from moderate to severe uni-compartmental osteoarthritis of the knee and patella. Soft-good/ semi-rigid designed to restrict motion through elastic or semi rigid construction.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the materials contained in this product.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
- We recommend that the first application be made under supervision of a health care professional.
- If pain, swelling, changes in sensation or other unusual reactions occur while using this product, you should contact your doctor immediately.
- Do not use over open wounds.
- Do not use this device if it was damaged and/or package has been opened.
NOTE: Contact manufacturer and competent authority in case of a serious incident arising due to usage of this device
APPLICATION INFORMATION

Pull on optional sleeve. (Fig. 1)

Unlace straps from D-Rings. (Fig. 2)

In a seated position bend leg at about 20 degrees. Lay web over top of knee joint, centering web over the patella (knee cap). Ensure hinge is placed at the center of the knee joint. (Fig. 3)

Feed all 4 straps through D-Rings and secure. Adjust straps as needed for snug fit. (Fig. 4)
Optional Custom Fit with heat packs – If required, else skip to step 6 -
5a. Peel off wax paper backing from heat packs and apply to thigh and calf cuffs.

5b. Pull off PEEL AWAY tab to start heat. Let it sit for 3 minutes.

5c. Peel off heat pack; Mold thigh and Calf cuffs to leg. Adjust straps to allow cuffs to custom form to leg.

Press BOA in and rotate to tension web for micro fit adjustments (see fig. 6A and 6B).

To unfasten brace, first pull out BOA to release then unstrap brace (see fig 7A and 7B).
OFF-LOADING HINGE ADJUSTMENT
Place off-loading hinge on the edge of a table. Place the thigh upright on the edge of the table about 1” above the hinge and press downward on the calf portion of the upright to create a bend in the upright. Repeat on the lower (calf) portion if necessary.
NOTE: Ensure patient has comfortable amount of pressure from the off- loading hinge.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Separate the brace’s removable pads before cleaning.
Hand wash in water (86°F/30°C) using soap. Air dry.

DJO, LLC will repair or replace all or part of the unit and its accessories for material or workmanship defects for a period of 1 year from the date of sale. To the extent the terms of this warranty are inconsistent with local regulations, the provisions of such local regulations will apply
