BEFORE USING THE DEVICE, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY AND CAREFULLY. CORRECT APPLICATION IS VITAL TO THE PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THE DEVICE.
INTENDED USER PROFILE: The intended user should be a licensed medical professional, the patient, the patient’s caretaker, or a family member providing assistance. The user should be able to read, understand and be physically capable to perform all the directions, warnings and cautions provided in the information for use.
INDICATIONS: The Aircast Walking Brace Weather Cover is designed to protect the walking brace and liner from weather conditions. Providing protection to the walker, decreasing the risk of damage.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not use if you are allergic to any of the materials contained in this product.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:
- Do not use over open wounds.
- Do not modify the device or use the device other than intended.
- If pain, swelling, changes in sensation or other unusual reactions occur while using this product, you should contact your doctor immediately.
- Do not use this device if it is damaged and/or the packaging has been opened.
- Extra precaution should be taken if using on wet or slippery surfaces.
NOTE: Contact manufacturer and competent authority in case of a serious incident arising due to usage of this device.
APPLICATION INFORMATION:
Initial Application

A) Apply walker as directed.

B) Apply the weather cover starting at the toe end. Peel off inside release paper only, and adhere hook and loop underneath grey insole. ( Fig. B )

C) Moving around the base of the walking brace, peel-off inside release paper only, (one side at a time) keeping the hook and loop attached to the inside of the weather cover. Press firmly on each side to attach the loop to the base of the walker. Note: To insure good contact of the loop to the base, remove the cover and press firmly onto the loop pieces. Reapply weather cover. ( Fig. C )

D) Close weather cover around back of walker by adhering hook and loop from bottom to top. ( Fig. D )
GENERAL APPLICATION:
- E) Apply walker as directed. Open weather cover and place over walker.
- F) Apply the weather cover starting at the toe end adhering hook and loop underneath grey insole.
- G) Move to the base of the brace and reapply hook and loop to each side.
- H) Close weather cover around back of walker by adhering hook and loop from bottom to top.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS: Hand wash weather cover using mild soap, rinse thoroughly. AIR DRY.
WARRANTY: DJO, LLC will repair or replace all or part of the unit and it’s accessories for material or workmanship defects for a period of six months from the date of sale.
