carefully before operating your product and pay close attention to the
precautions, which are mentioned below. Store this user manual in a safe place

Precautions
- Avoid exposure to extreme temperature, direct sunlight, moisture, sand, dust, or mechanical shock; never leave the unit in a car parked in the sun.
- In vehicles or in buildings, radio reception may be difficult or noisy, Try listening near a window.
- If there is lightning when you are using this unit, take off the headphone immediately.
Hearing safety
Caution
To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen to high volume levels for long periods, set the volume to a safe level. The louder the volume, the shorter the safe listening time.
Be sure to observe the following guidelines when using your earphone.
- Listen to reasonable volumes for reasonable periods of time.
- Be careful not to adjust the volume continuously upwards as your hearing can be damaged
- Do not turn up the volume so high that you cannot hear around you.
- Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss.
Installing the battery
1- Open the battery compartment and insert 2 pcs “AA” / “UM3” size battery
into the compartment following the correct polarity. (Batteries are not
included)
Notes on the battery
- When the sound gets distorted or unstable, replace the batteries.
- To avoid damage from battery leakage and corrosion, remove the battery when you do not use the unit for a long time.
- Do not mix different types of batteries or old and new batteries.
Use the earphone/speaker to listen to the radio
If you wish to listen to the radio with the supplied earphones, connect the
earphone plug to the input jack located on the left side of the radio. When
the earphones are removed, the sound will automatically switch to speaker
mode.
Tips: Before listening to the radio by earphone, please set the volume to a
low level.
Selecting the band
• Slide the band selector switch located at the back of the unit.
Using the radio
- Rotate the On/Off button to switch on the unit and adjust the volume level to your desire.
- Select the AM or FM band.
- Tune the desired frequency by rotating the “TUN” knob.
- To off the unit, simply rotate the On/Off knob downwards until a click sound is heard.
Improve signal strength

For FM mode, extend the telescopic antenna in FM mode to improve the signal strength.

For AM mode, rotate the unit horizontally to improve the signal strength.
Note: During operation, the product may have radio interference which is caused by electromagnetic waves such as y mobile phones, TV, Neon light, etc.. Use the radio keeping in mind there is enough separation between the radio and the interfering appliances.
