HoMEDICS ODM-100 Outdoor Massage Mat
Product Information This product is an Outdoor Massage Mat distributed by HoMedics. The model number is ODM-100A. It is powered by 4 AA-sized batteries and has 6 massage motors that provide a relaxing or invigorating full body massage. The unit has three massage programs: Pulse, All Motors, and Wave. It also features adjustable massage intensity levels. The product comes with a limited one-year warranty.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before using the product, read all instructions provided in the user manual.
- Ensure to save the instructions for future reference.
- Caution: All servicing of this massager must be performed by authorized HoMedics service personnel only.
- Battery Precautions: Avoid installing batteries that are not recommended as it may cause damage to the unit. Use only AA-sized batteries (alkaline, Ni-MH, etc.).
- Battery Installation:
- Press down on the latch and lift the battery cover towards you to open the battery compartment.
- Install or replace 4 AA-sized batteries according to the indications inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery cover by pushing straight down on the top until it clicks into place.
- Maintenance: If any issues arise with the product, send it to the HoMedics address listed in the warranty section.
- Massage Programs:
- Press the POWER button to turn the unit on.
- Select a massage program: Pulse, All Motors, or Wave.
- Adjust the massage intensity by pushing the INTENSITY+ or INTENSITY- buttons.
- Push the POWER button again to turn the unit off.
Warranty Information:
HoMedics offers a limited one-year warranty for this product.The warranty
covers defects in manufacture and workmanship for a period of one year from
the date of original purchase. To obtain warranty service, mail the product
and the dated sales receipt to the HoMedics Consumer Relations Service Center
at the provided address. This warranty is effective only if the product is
used in the country of purchase and does not cover modifications or repairs
made without the consent of HoMedics. The warranty does not apply to opened,
used, repaired, repackaged, or resealed products.

- Turn off appliance when not in use.
- Never operate this appliance if it has been damaged or if it is not working properly. Return it to the HoMedics Service Center for examination and repair.
- Keep away from heated surfaces.
- This appliance is designed for household use only.

If at any time soreness, rash or pain occurs, discontinue use and consult your physician.

NEVER use this product directly on swollen or inflamed areas, skin eruptions or an open wound.

A massage session longer than 15 minutes is not recommended.
Battery Precautions

Use only the size and type of batteries specified.

When installing batteries, observe proper +/- polarities. Incorrect installation of batteries may cause damage to the unit.

Do not mix old and new batteries.

Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (ni-cad, ni-mh, etc) batteries.

Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.

Remove used batteries promptly.
Note:
Take product indoors during extreme weather. -
If the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove batteries to prevent damage due to possible battery leakage.
Battery Installation

- Replace the battery cover by pushing straight down on the top until it clicks into place.
Note:
There is a 15 minute auto shut off on this unit for your safety.
Maintenance
To Store
Place massager in the included bag or a safe, dry, cool place. Avoid contact
with sharp edges or pointed objects which might cut or puncture the fabric
surface. Do not hang the unit by the controller cord.
To Clean
Spot clean with a damp cloth.
- Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass/furniture polish or paint thinner to clean.
- Do not attempt to repair the massager. There are no user-serviceable parts. For service, send the unit to the HoMedics address listed in the warranty section.
Note: This unit will automatically default to medium massage intensity when turned on or when changing programs.

Provide relaxing or invigorating full body massage. -
On / Off Massage Programs
Press POWER button to turn unit on. Select a massage program: Pulse, All Motors, or Wave. Adjust the massage intensity by pushing the “INTENSITY ” or “INTENSITY ” buttons. Push the POWER button again to turn the unit off.
Note: The manufacturer is not responsible for any radio or TV interference caused by unauthorized modifications to this equipment. Such modifications could void the user authority to operate the equipment.
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
