IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, serious personal
injury and/or property damage:
- A. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the motorized base, power cord, plug or product in water or expose to other liquids.
- B. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children and pets. This appliance is not intended for use by children. Close adult supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use
- C. Do not use appliance for anything other than its intended use.
- D. Only use the appliance to squeeze the citrus fruit, never use it for juicing other kind of fruits.
- E. Do not operate the product if it has a damaged power cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. - F. Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet when not in use, before changing parts cleaning or moving the appliance. To disconnect, pull directly on the plug, do not pull on the power cord.
- G. Do not plug or unplug the product into/from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
- H. Connect the power plug to an easily accessible outlet so that the electric citrus juicer can be unplugged immediately in the event of an emergency.
- I. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
- J. This product is intended for indoor, household use only. Do not use outdoors or for any other purpose.
- K. Do not leave the product unattended while it is in use. Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet when not in use.
- L. Do not allow the power cord to hang (e.g., over the edge of a table or counter) or touch hot surfaces.
- M. Do not place the product on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in heated oven or microwave oven.
- N. Always use the electric citrus juicer on a firm and stable surface.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
POLARIZED PLUG: This appliance is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this feature or modify the plug in any way. If the plug fits loosely into the AC outlet or if the AC outlet feels warm, do not use that outlet.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: A short detachable power-supply cord is provided to
reduce risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer
cord.
AN EXTENSION CORD MAY BE USED IF CARE IS EXERCISED IN THEIR USE:
- Minimize the risk of overheating by using the shortest UL or ETL cord possible.
- The marked electrical rating must be at least as great as that of the product.
- Never use a single extension cord to operate more than one appliance.
- Arrange the longer cord so that it will not drape over a countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over, snagged, or pulled on unintentionally (especially by children).
- DO NOT alter the plug. DO NOT attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.
BEFORE FIRST USE
- Remove all parts & accessories. Dispose of packaging.
- Wash all removable parts (not motorized base) in hot soapy water and dry thoroughly or place in the dishwasher- top rack ONLY.
- Wipe the motorized base with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly – do not submerge in water.
NOTE: Do not immerse the motorized base or the power cord in water or any other liquids.
TO ASSEMBLE:
Assemble the adjustable filter (in the sequence shown and describe on page 3) in the pitcher and then correctly attach the selected juicing cone on the filter basket.

Place the base stem through the juicer pitcher until the juicer pitcher rests on the motorized base.

Secure the juicer pitcher to the motorized base by turning it clockwise until it’s firmly locked in place.

Place the adjustable filter on top of the juice pitcher
NOTE: Snap the 2 baskets together to obtain the Adjustable filter -
Choose the proper juicing cone.
IMPORTANT: If choosing the large juicing cone, place it on top of the
small juicing cone. Insert the notches of the large juicing cone into the
stirrers of the small juicing cone until they snap into place.
Place the base stem through the juicing cone until it rests on top of the
adjustable filter.
TO USE
(Read the instructions before first use)

Select the small or large juicing cone depending on size of the citrus fruit.
NOTE:- The small juicing cone is recommended for smaller varieties of citrus fruits such as lemons or limes and the large juicing cone for larger varieties of citrus fruits such as oranges or grapefruits.
- For small varieties of citrus place the small juicing cone on the adjustable filter.
- For larger varieties of citrus place the large juicing cone on top of the small juicing cone. The large juicing cone needs to be placed on top of the small juicing self-reversing cone. Insert the notches of the large juicing cone into the stirrers of the small juicing cone until they snap into place.

Assemble the adjustable filter in the sequence shown above – (see TO ASSEMBLE section). Place on top of the pitcher and then attach the selected juicing cone on the adjustable filter.

Place the pitcher on the motorized base.
NOTE: The pitcher is supported by the base stem that holds the adjustable filter and the juicing cones into place. -
Cut the citrus fruit in half.

Place the citrus fruit on the juicing cone and press it lightly until the motor starts running.
NOTE: The opening of the adjustable filter can be customized to control the amount of pulp and to catch the seeds in your juice.
CAUTION: Never use excessive force when pressing the citrus fruit to prevent from blocking and damaging motor. -
The extracted juice will flow into the pitcher through the adjustable filter leaving the pulp and seeds aside.

Once juicing has completed, release the hand from the juicing cone and the motorized base will stop running.

After juice extraction, remove the citrus fruit from the juicing cone.
Cautions: The appliance should be on for 15 seconds and off for 15 seconds. After 10 consecutive cycles, the appliance must be cooled down for 30 minutes.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Ensure the appliance is unplugged from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool down completely before handling or cleaning it.
- Remove juicing cone, adjustable filter from the pitcher by lifting them straight up.
- Immediately rinse the juicing cone and adjustable filter with water after each use.
- Grip container handle with one hand and the base with the other hand.
- Turn the pitcher’s handle counterclockwise to unlock it from the motorized base.
- Lift the pitcher straight up.
- Use hot soapy water to wash storage lid, juicing cones, adjustable filter and the pitcher or place them in the dishwasher- top rack ONLY. Wash after each use.
- Wipe motorized base with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Dry all parts before reassembling your citrus juicer (See TO ASSEMBLE section).
NOTE :
- Do not put the motorized base in the dishwasher, use a damp cloth for cleaning.
- Do not immerse the motorized base or cord in water or other liquids
WARRANTY
1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY.
This warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship for a period of
one (1) year from the date of the original purchase. Please retain your
original receipt as a proof of the purchase date. Any complaints must be
registered within the warranty period. The product will be repaired, replaced
(parts or entire appliance) or refunded at our sole discretion. Shipping
charges may apply.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from
any of the following:
Negligent use or misuse of the product including failure to clean the product
regularly, use for commercial purposes, accident, use on improper voltage or
current, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair or
altercation by anyone other than a STARFRIT authorized service agent.

RECIPES
HOMEMADE LEMON AND ORANGE LEMONADE
SERVINGS: 6 (APPROXIMATELY)
Ingredients:
- 2 lemons
- 3 oranges
- 1 L (4 cups) of cold water
- Ice
- Lemons and oranges slices for serving (optional)
Preparation:
- Cut the lemons and oranges in half.
- Squeeze the juice from lemons and oranges using the Starfrit electric citrus juicer.
- Pour extracted juice in a large serving pitcher. Add the water and stir. Chill the lemonade for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Add lemon or orange slices and ice for serving (optional).
CREAMY CITRUS SALAD DRESSING
SERVINGS: ¾ CUP (APPROXIMATELY)
Ingredients:
• ¼ cup of plain Greek yogurt
• Fresh juice from 1 lemon
• 1 small shallot, peeled and finely sliced
• 1-2 tbsp. of white balsamic vinegar
• 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
• 2 tsp. of Dijon mustard
• 1 tsp. of honey
• Dash of salt and pepper
• Fresh orange zest to decorate (optional)
Preparation:
- Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice using the Starfrit electric citrus juicer.
- In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients; cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Serve with your favorite greens.
LEMON BARS
12 BARS (APPROXIMATELY)
Ingredients:
FOR THE CRUST:
• 1 cup regular all-purpose flour
• ⅓ cup unsalted butter
• ⅓ cup maple syrup
Preparation:

In a bowl, combine the flour, butter and maple syrup. Stir until well combined.

Scoop the dough into the lined pan and use the back of a spoon to spread it out to the edge of the pan. Make sure the layer of the crust is nice and even.

Bake the crust at 350 ˚F for 20 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes.
Ingredients:
FOR THE LEMON FILLING:
• 3 large eggs
• ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
• ⅓ cup maple syrup
• ⅓ cup fresh lemon juice (from 2-3 lemons)
• 2 tablespoons flour
• ½ teaspoon vanilla
• ¼ teaspoon salt
Preparation: -
Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice using the Starfrit electric citrus juicer.

Combine all of the lemon filling ingredients in a medium bowl and mix until smooth, making sure to break up all of the yogurt lumps.

Pour the filling into the baked, slightly cooled crust and smooth the top.

Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, until set.
-
Let the lemon bars cool completely and place on a flat surface. Use a sharp knife to cut the lemon bars into squares. For decoration use a small mesh strainer to sprinkle the powdered sugar over the bars and add lemon slices if desired.

- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- Lemon slices for decoration (optional)
