CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Caution
- The maximum suction effect will always be obtained with a clean filter, empty dust bag and also empty dirt container.
- We recommend to clean HEPA filter after approx. 5 dry cleaning cycles (i.e. using dust bag). If you remove dry dirt (with no dust bag), clean HEPA filter thoroughly after each use.
- When you remove very fine dust, HEPA filter and dust bag pores can become clogged. This will reduce air flow and also the cleaning effect. If so, empty the dust bag as soon as possible (even if it is not completely filled) and clean/replace the HEPA filter as well.
Treat surface of the appliance with a soft and damp cloth, do not use coarse and aggressive detergents!
Accessories
After any vacuuming it is recommended to check visually the brushes or collectors for possible impurities. If there are some impurities, remove them. After cleaning liquid dirt, used accessories (B1, B1b, B3, B4, B6) should be washed in flowing water. Then allow them to dry completely.
Permanent synthetic dust bag (A14)
Slide aside plastic closure at the bottom of the bag. Empty the dirt, beat or
blow out the bag (this procedure should be made outdoors).
Dirt container
Wash the interior with water, then allow it to dry completely.
HEPA filter
Shake out the HEPA filter A12 gently, or blow it out. If the HEPA filter is
very dirty, you can rinse it under running lukewarm water. Allow it to dry out
properly.
Caution
- If you clean the HEPA filter with water, its filtration properties will deteriorate. The filter cannot be washed more than three times. After that, a new filter needs to be purchased.
- We recommend that you replace the HEPA filter twice a year.
- HEPA filter is not machine washable.
- Neglected cleaning/replacement of HEPA filter can result in defect of the unit!
