RESCUE THE CHILD!

The safety of The Child is under threat! Come to its aid by speeding around
a dangerous planet in the outer reaches of the galaxy. Play as The Mandalorian™, Cara Dune™, IG-11™, or Kuiil™, and try to send your opponents’ characters back to HOME. Be the first player to move all four of your characters onto the FINISH spaces to rescue The Child and win!

THE FIRST TIME YOU PLAY

  1. Slide the cardboard gameboard over the plastic base unit and tuck the gameboard under the plastic tabs.

Moving onto the FINISH spaces

  • Your characters must go around the track once before landing on the FINISH spaces. Once there, your characters are safe—they cannot be sent back to HOME.
  • Your characters do not need to land on the FINISH spaces by exact count, and you can fill the FINISH spaces in any order. You may not move a character after they have landed on a FINISH space.

Landing on a SHORTCUT space

There are four special spaces on the track, called SHORTCUTS. If you land on a SHORTCUT space by exact count, move your character to the next SHORTCUT space and end your turn.

  • But your character cannot land on a SHORTCUT space or move to the next one if you already have a character on either of those spaces. You’ll need to make a different move if you can, or end your turn.
  • If any opponent has a character on either of those spaces, that character gets sent back to their HOME.
  • If your character lands on its matching-colored SHORTCUT space, you can move that character to one of your unoccupied FINISH spaces immediately.

HOW TO WIN!

Get all four of your characters onto the FINISH spaces first to rescue The Child and win!

GET READY!

  1. Each player chooses one set of four character pawns, and places three of those pawns on the matching-colored HOME spaces.
  2. Each player then places their fourth character pawn on its START space.
  3. That’s it! The youngest player goes first. Play then moves to the left.
    GET READY!

GET READY! THIS IS THE WAY…TO PLAY!

On your turn, press the POP-O-MATIC die roller and move according to the number shown:

Roll a 1: An angry mudhorn has blocked your path! You cannot move, but other players can move a character from their HOME to their START space.

Note: Whenever a player already has one of their characters on their START space, they can’t move a new one out.

Roll a 2, 3, 4, or 5: You fight off a gang of mercenaries! Move one of your
characters already on the track clockwise that many spaces.

Roll a 6: You receive a handsome reward! Choose one of the following:

  • Move a character from your HOME to your START space and pop again.
  • Move one of your characters already on the track clockwise six spaces and pop again.

Note: You may only pop again once on any given turn!

MOVING AROUND THE BOARD

Moving from HOME to START

  • To move a character from your HOME to your START space, you must pop a 6 or another player must pop a 1.
  • If one of your characters is already on your START space, you can’t move a new one out.
    MOVING AROUND THE BOARD

Moving onto an occupied space

  • No two characters may share a space, even if they are both yours.
  • If your character lands on a space occupied by another player’s character, send that player’s character back to their HOME, and place your character on that space (even if it’s a START space).
  • If your only possible move is to land on one of your own characters, you cannot move and your turn is over.
