Important Safety Instructions
Please read all instructions carefully before using this product for the first time to avoid the risk of accidents and damage to the appliance. Basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
- Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance (underside the kettle & base) corresponds with the voltage in your home. If this is not the case, contact your dealer and stop using the kettle.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch a hot surface.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
- To protect against a fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not immerse cord, electric plugs or kettle in water or other liquids.
- Ensure that the kettle is used on a firm and flat surface out of reach of children, this will prevent the kettle from overturning and avoid damage or injury.
- The use of accessories, which are not recommended by the appliance manufacturer, may result in fire, electric shock or personal injury. 7. If the supply cord is damaged, in order to avoid a hazard, it must be replaced by the manufacturer please contact the customer support team.
- Do not operate the appliance without anything in it to avoid damaging the heat elements.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. 11. The appliance is not a toy. Do not let the children play it.
- While water is boiling, or just after the water has been boiled, avoid contacting with steam from the spout.
- Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the kettle too fast
- The kettle can only use with the base provided.
- Be careful of refilling when the kettle is hot.
- Do not touch the hot surface. Use the handle or the button.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot water.
- If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may spill out.
- Always ensure the lid is closed and do not lift it while the water is boiling. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycles.
- To disconnect, press “cancel” button then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Unplug the kettle from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the kettle to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- The attached base can not be used for other than intended use.
- Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
- The kettle is for household use only. Do not use outdoors.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
– Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
– Farm houses;
– By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments.

Use and Caution
For the First Use
If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you should clean your kettle before use by boiling the Max capacity of water and then discarding the water. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
Use the Kettle
- Place the kettle on a dry and flat surface, away from any potential heat source.
- Unwind the length of cord required to reach the mains electrical outlet.
- Remove the kettle from the base.
- Open the lid. Fill in water between the MIN and MAX markings located inside the kettle and close the lid.
NOTE:
- The MIN capacity of kettle is 0.85L. The MAX capacity is 1.7L.
- Make sure that the lid is securely closed before boiling.
- Place the kettle back onto the base.
- Plug the kettle into the mains electrical outlet and it enters standby mode. The temperature display will light up and show the real-time temperature. Boil (212°F) setting light flashes to indicate the default mode, then kettle is ready for temperature selection.
- Press the “+” and “-” buttons to select the wanted temperature for the type of tea you are brewing. During the temperature selection process, the selected temperature light flashes and the other lights stay on. NOTE: If there is no operation within 3 minute after the kettle comes into temperature selection state, the buzzer will sound 3 times. Then all lights are off, and the kettle enters the standby mode.Press any button to wake the appliance.
- Choose the mode of boiling. If you want to keep the water warm at the selected temperature, press “KEEP WARM” button. If not, simply press “START/CANCEL” button to begin.
KEEP WARM
Press “KEEP WARM” button after temperature selecting. The kettle immediately starts working. The display will only show the selected temperature and the selected temperature light is on.
After the water boiled to the selected temperature, it will beep 3 times and automatically begin to keep warm. The display shows real-time temperature and the selected temperature light keep flashing.
After 2-hours keep warm, the buzzer will beep 3 times and all the lights will off to end the keep warm stage, the kettle goes into standby mode.
START
Press “ START” button after temperature selecting. The kettle starts working. The display will only show the selected temperature and the selected temperature light is on.
After the water boiled to the selected temperature, the buzzer will beep 3 times and the screen will show the temperature which you selected. After 3 minutes all the lights will off, and the kettle goes into standby mode. It will not re-boil until the “START” button is pressed again.
NOTE:
- You can stop the kettle boiling or keep warm process at any time by pressing the “CANCEL” button.
- There will be 37°F tolerance different from the setting temperature.
- Lift the kettle from the power base and carefully pour water.
NOTE: When the kettle is replaced on the base within 2 minutes, it will continue the working procedure. You don’t have to set it again.
Caution
- Too little water will cause the kettle switching off before the water has boiled. If you fill water over the maximum level, water may spill out of the spout when boiling.
- It is recommended to wait 30 seconds to re-boil water by pressing the power switch again.
- The kettle will not turn off if the switch is constrained or if the lid is opening.
- Operate carefully when pouring water from your kettle as boiling water may result in scald, besides, don’t open the lid while the water in the kettle is hot.
- If the kettle enters standby mode, all display will turn off. To wake the appliance, press any button.
- Please do not open the lid and add water into the kettle during boiling process. Always ensure to remove the kettle from the base before pouring.
Boil-Dry Protection
Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without water, the function of
boil-dry protection will automatically switch off the power. If this occurs,
allow the kettle to cool prior to filling with cold water before re-boiling.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and cool it down completely before cleaning.
- Never immerse the kettle, power cord or power base in water, or allow moisture to contact with these parts.
- Wipe the appearance of body with a damp cloth or cleaner, never use a poisonous cleaner. Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the kettle to prevent the gloss loss.
- Always disconnect the power supply when not use. When not in use and for storage, the power cord may be wound under the power base.
Removal of Mineral Deposits
- Your kettle should be periodically descaled as the mineral deposits in tap water may form scale on the bottom of kettle so as to cause the operation less efficiency.
- You can use the commercially available descaler and follow the instructions on the package of descaler. Alternatively, you may follow below instructions using the white vinegar.
- Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar, then add water to the amount so as to cover the bottom of kettle completely. Leave the solution in the kettle overnight.
- Then discard the mixture in the kettle, and filling the kettle with clean water to the maximum position, boiling and then discard the water. Repeat several times until the odor of vinegar has been flushes away. Any stains remaining inside the spout can be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth.
