Product Specifications

Fosi Audio M01-BT is used as a subwoofer amplifier or a full-frequency mono amplifier, with SUB Frequency control, Gain control, and Volume control. The M01-BT supports Bluetooth or RCA input, suitable for most home powered subwoofer, passive speaker/ subwoofer. Quick Setup

Now to Use?

Step 1:

  1. Install the Bluetooth antenna. Connect the power adapter to the socket and the M01-BT. Please make sure the blue LED light on the power adapter stays on. Then flip up the power switch button on the front panel. The input indicator light is on.
  2. Switch to PBTL (As a full frequency mono amp): You can use the banana plugs or bare wires to connect the passive speaker to the M01-BT. Use the RCA cable to connect the powered subwoofer to the M01-BT.
  3. Switch to SUB (As a subwoofer amp): You can use the banana plugs or bare wires to connect the passive subwoofer to the M01-BT. Use the RCA cable to connect the powered subwoofer to the M01-BT.

Step 2:

  1. RCA Input: Use the RCA cable to connect the M01-BT with your device. The input mode indicator light on the front panel will stay on Red after a successful connection.
  2. Bluetooth Input: Turn on the Bluetooth on your device, then select “M01-BT” for pairing, the input mode indicator light will stay on Blue after a successful connection. Once Bluetooth is connected, the RCA input will be interrupted. If you want to use the RCA input again, just disconnect the Bluetooth.

Step 3:

Adjust the Volume control, SUB Frequency control, Gain control, then enjoy it.
Note: Make sure that all the cables are completely pushed into the device.

Q&A/ Troubleshooting

  1. Get noise when playing music?

    • Try another Bluetooth device. Make sure to install the Bluetooth antenna. Weak or unstable Bluetooth signal will cause this problem. Try to close your device to the M01-BT.
    • Try another RCA cable and make sure the audio cable is connected correctly.
    • Please unplug the RCA cable from the amplifier, and then turn it on to have a try.
    • Please change the audio cable and audio source to have a try.
    • Make sure that all the cables are completely pushed into the device, incompletely connection will cause this issue.
    • Please keep the M01-BT away from other electronic devices.
  2. All cables are connected, but there is no audio output?

    • Please check the indicator light on the front panel of the M01-BT and the power supply are on.

    • If the indicator light stays on, please check if the volume knob is at the minimum state, if it is, please turn up the volume.

    • Make sure that M01-BT Is in the play mode you want.
      Note: Bluetooth input mode (The input mode indicator light will turn Blue.) RCA input mode (The input mode indicator light will turn Red.) Once Bluetooth is connected, the RCA input will be interrupted.

    • Please check if the audio source is paused.

    • Please try to change the sound source, cables and speaker/subwoofer.

    • Restart the M01-BT and your device, then try to connect again. Note: Make sure that all the cables are completely pushed into the device.

  3. My Bluetooth device can’t pair with M01-BT?

    • Make sure that the M01-BT is powered on and the blue LED light on the power adapter stays on.
    • Make sure that the M01-BT is not paired with other devices.
    • Make sure that the distance between your device and the M01-BT is not too long, close your device to the M01-BT to have a try.
    • Make sure there are no obstacles between your device and the M01-BT, obstacles will affect the Bluetooth operation distance.
    • Please try to change another Bluetooth audio source to test.
    • Please replug the power supply, move the amplifier to another room and test it again.
    • Restart the M01-BT and then try to connect again, try to use another brand of mobile phone.
  4. Can I connect a turntable to it?

    • If your turntable has a built-in phono preamp, you can directly connect the M01-BT to your turntable with RCA cable.
    • If your turntable does not have a built-in phono preamp, you need to add a phono preamp to the turntable and the M01-BT, similar to our BOX X2.
  5. Can’t power on?

    • Make sure that the blue LED light on the power adapter stays on.
    • If it does not light up: Unplug the power adapter from the M01
    • BT, plug the power adapter directly into the AC power source, and see if the LED will light up. If it still does not light up, it may be a problem with the power adapter. Please contact us to replace the power adapter.
    • You can use the DC15-32V power adapter of the camera or router to connect the M01-BT to test whether the M01-BT can be turned on.
  6. Can this amp be left on all the time?

    • It can be connected all the time and it is safe without power consumption.
  7. What does the SUB FREQ knob do? Does it only adjust the frequency output by the passive subwoofer?

    • SUB FREQ is to adjust the output frequency of passive subwoofer and sub pre-out, the adjustment range is 20-200Hz.
  8. What does the GAIN knob do?

    • M01-BT is designed with a GAIN switch, if the sound is not loud enough, you can adjust the GAIN switch button to a suitable volume.
  9. Why Bluetooth is intermittent?

    • Use another Bluetooth device to have a try.
    • Ensure that there is no Interference from other electronic equipment between the M01-BT and the audio source.
    • Put your device close to the M01-BT.
    • Restart the M01-BT to have a try.
  10. Why the sound cut in and cut out?

    • Try to reduce the sound of the sound source.
    • Try to change the audio source to test.
    • Ensure that the positive and negative poles of the speaker output do not touch together. Some relatively large banana plugs are easy to touch together and cause a short circuit.
  11. Doesn’t work for subwoofer?

    • Please make sure the PBTL & SUB Switch on the front panel is select to SUB.
    • Select to PBTL (As a full frequency mono amp): Response Range: 20Hz-20KHz Select to SUB (As a subwoofer amp): Response Range: 20-200Hz
    • You can adjust the SUB FREQ knob to a suitable site. The adjustment range is 20-200Hz.
    • Please try to change the sound source and subwoofer.
