Important Notes
- If the volume indicator light blinks frequently and with high intensity, it indicates that the current volume is high. We recommend lowering the volume before putting on your headphones and then gradually adjusting to a sensible level.
- Please avoid plugging or unplugging the USB cable, AUX audio cable, or headphone cable while the device is powered on to prevent any abnormal sound or poor contact
- The AUX port supports both analog and optical signal outputs. However, when using a 3.5mm optical cable for optical signal output, the sampling rate indicator, mode selection button, and volume knob will be disabled. In this case, only the USB input mode is active.
- Upon initial startup or mode switching, the sampling rate indicator may not immediately update. It will switch to the correct indicator Status once an audio signal is input.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Why isn’t the play/pause function working? The play/pause function operates through a shortcut command sent from the SK02 to your audio source device via a USB connection. Compatibility issues may render this function ineffective. In this case, you can double-click the multifunction knob to mute and unmute.
- What is the purpose of the volume indicator light? What does rapid flashing mean? The volume indicator light shows the level Of volume. Rapid flashing, especially if bright, indicates that the volume is high. It’s recommended to lower the volume before using headphones to better protect your hearing.
- Why does the AUX output emit a red light? How should I use this port? The AUX output can deliver both analog and optical signals. The red light signifies optical signal output. Use a 3.5mm AUX audio cable for analog signals and a 3.5mm optical cable for optical output, which defaults to maximum volume and supports only USB input.
- Why is there no sound when playing music through the SK02?
- A. Check if the cables are properly connected.
- B. If you change the sampling rate, it might require the audio source device to re-recognize the output device. Try replugging the USB power cable.
- C. Double-click the volume knob to check if it’s on mute.
- D. Increase the volume on both the audio source and the SK02.
- Can the SK02S volume knob control the audio output of the AUX port Or is it just for the headphone output? The knob controls the 3.5mm AUX port and the headphone outputs. However, when outputting an optical signal, the volume is set to maximum by default and cannot be adjusted.
- Why doesn’t the SK02S indicator light change after I switch the sampling rate? Upon initial startup or when switching modes, the indicator light may not update immediately. It requires an audio signal input to switch to the correct indicator status.
- In USB input mode, why doesnt the volume change when I adjust the volume on my computer while using it as the audio source? In USB mode on a computer, the volume is set to 100% by default.
