Introduction

State Description

“Lo”
The temperature is below 89.6˚F The red light flashes and announces “Please re-test”
“HI”
The temperature is higher than 107.6˚F. The red light flashes and announces “Please re-test”
“Abnormal temperature”
The red light flashes continuously with an alarm sound
“Room temperature”
The green light flashes and it announces “normal temperature”

Operation Instruction

Switch and Reset:
Press the “ON/OFF/Menu” button, the machine will start up
Press and hold the “Menu” button for 2 seconds, the machine will shut down.
Press and hold the “ON/OFF/Menu” button for 6 seconds until “RST” is displayed, then reset to the factory default settings.
Historical temperature query:
Use the “Left” and “Right” keys to view historical temperature data. The H3 Plus supports up to 118 readings to review.
Display the serial number of the review temperature first, and then display the temperature corresponding to the serial number
Clear historical data:
After viewing the historical temperature, press and HOLD the “Left” or “Right” button for 2 seconds. The screen will display “CLr”. When the 3 horizontal bars are displayed the data is cleared.
Press the ON/OFF/Menu” button or wait 10 seconds to automatically exit.
Exit menu settings:
Press and hold the ON/OFF/Menu” button
Wait 10 seconds to automatically exit.
Temperature measurement:
Sensor distance is 2 to 4 inches

Language setting:
Quickly press the “Menu” button ONCE to enter the language setting. Selecting the “Left” and “Right” buttons will switch the language. A voice will broadcast the selected language: CH/CH1/CH2/CH3: Chinese. EN: English. IT: Italian. HR: Korean. SP: Spanish. JP/JP1: Japanese. GE: German: PO: Portuguese. FR: French. RU: Russian. AR: Arabic. IN: Hindi. HO: Dutch. TL: Thai. PL: Polish. DI: Buzzer sound “di”
Temperature unit setting:
Quickly press the “Menu” button TWICE to enter the temperature unit setting. Selecting the “Left” and “Right” buttons will switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
C: Celsius. F: Fahrenheit
Volume setting:
Quickly press the “Menu” button THREE TIMES to enter the volume setting. The default setting is V02.
Use the “Left” and “Right” buttons to adjust the volume. VoO is silent, Vo5 is Maximum.
Mode setting:
Quickly press the “Menu” button FOUR TIMES to enter the measurement mode.
Selecting the “Left” and “Right” buttons will switch the mode settings.

Alarm temperature setting:
Quickly press the “Menu” button FIVE TIMES to enter the alarm temperature mode. The “Left” or “Right” keys can switch between the alarm temperature 36.0-38.0˚C. The default is 37.5˚C. The temperature alarm is only valid in “Body” mode.
Automatic shutdown setting:
Quickly press the “Menu” button SIX TIMES to enter the shutdown setting. The “Left” or “Right” keys can switch between 12 hours or not automatic shutdown.
The default A1 is 12 hours to shut down automatically
A1: Automatic shutdown 12 hours

A0: No automatic shutdown
Ultra-low temperature setting:
Quickly press the “Menu” button SEVEN TIMES, the “Left” and “Right” buttons switch “nor/LO/32/0”. The default is “nor”
Regular Mode
Supports measurement in low temperature environment

When the body temperature is lower than 32.0˚C. Display 32.0 and green light, and announce “normal temperature.”

When the body temperature is lower than 32.0˚C. Display LO and green light, and announce “Please retest.”
Sound effects setting:
Quickly press the “Menu” button EIGHT TIMES, the “Left” and “Right” buttons switch the sound effects between “D1” or “DO” before voice broadcast.. The default is “D1” and gives the “Di” sound.

High temperature alarm setting:
Quickly press the “Menu” button NINE TIMES, to set the high temperature alarm sound: “R1” or “RO.” The default is “R1” which is an alarm sound
R1: Alarm tone

R2: 5 second “DiDi” sound

Battery installation:

Open the battery cover, install batteries according to the proper polarity

Tips:

The user has the responsibility to ensure the proper environment for the equipment to function properly.
When changing the operating environment, the equipment must be allowed to acclimate for at least 30 minutes.
Glasses and hair can affect infrared. When measuring, please take off your glasses and align your forehead with the sensor head.
Please avoid direct sunlight when using the H3Plus outdoors.
Keep away from air conditioning and fans, etc.
In order to preserve power, the machine will automatically shut down after 12 hours of no operation.
Please use proper batteries with safety certification, and install them correctly according to the correct polarity. Non-certified batteries or reversing the polarity will damage the product.
Replace the battery, or recharge the Lithium-ion battery when the power is low.
Use the H3 Plus indoors in cold weather, and ensure the forehead is close to the device.
