**Introduction
**
They are thousands of car audio enthusiasts with at least one version of the popular AUX2CAR in their vehicle. The AUX2CAR (PXDX) auxiliary input adapter and PXDP (iPod2CAR) branded by Peripherals, iSimple, PAC & NEO allows users to play their audio devices on the car stereo through a wired (3.5mm or RCA) connection. The A2D-35 converts the AUX2CAR or iPOD2CAR wired connection to a wireless solution which means user no longer has to physically connect their audio devices. If your Smartphone or Tablet support Audio Streaming Profile (A2DP) and own an AUX2CAR or iPOD2CAR, the A2D-35 is for you! Simply pair audio device and enjoy the best sound possible on car speakers. The A2D-35 converts the AUX2CAR or iPOD2CAR wired inputs to a wireless audio streaming solution. (Not for hands-free calls)
- Locate AUX2CAR or iPOD2CAR (vehicle must have one)
- Disconnect 8-pin DIN audio cable from module

- Connect A2D-35 8-pin plug to Module 8-pin connector (See Fig.2)
- Connect/Tap Red wire to an Accessory supply in car. (Not battery supply)
- Secure module and proceed to next section.
Pairing
Pairing varies among devices but the basic steps are the same. This process is done upon initial install and will not have to be repeated
- Turn Ignition and radio “ON” LED inside adapter peephole will flash (pairing mode)
- On A2DP device: Go to Settings, Wireless & Networks,
- Bluetooth Settings Select Bluetooth and turn on.
- Then select Bluetooth settings
- Tap Scan for devices.
- Wait for the Bluetooth device name to appear (SKY) and select it. LED inside adapter peephole will glow steady (paired)
Operation
- Turn ignition and radio “ON”
- Press “CD”, “CDC”, “AUX” “MODE” etc. button used to enter CD changer mode (Bluetooth)
- Launch Smartphone or Tablet streaming application.
- Use radio volume control button to set playback level. If distorted, lower volume on phone or if inaudible, raise volume on phone.
- Warning : Playlist and Track selection is NOT possible from the Radio. Use the smartphone built-in controls to access and control the audio files.
- If correct operation is confirmed go ahead and reinstall radio or access Panels/Carpet.
Frequent ask question & troubleshooting

Does the A2D-35 work on AUX2CAR/IPOD2CAR with 8-pin Mini DIN?
NO; The A2D-35 only fits adapters with 8-pin DIN which is the larger socket. -
I’m not the original car owner. How can I find out if the AUX2CAR in my vehicle has an 8-pin DIN or 8-pin mini DIN socket?
Unfortunately, there is no way to tell other than performing a visual inspection. Below is what you are looking for. Hint: All compatible adapters have 8 dip-switches to the left of the 8-pin DIN socket (As seen below) – If your adapter does not look like either of the two images below, the A2D-35 will not work even if your device has an 8- pin socket. -
The factory radio in older Honda, Volvo, Nissan, BMW, Mitsubishi all have an 8- pin DIN socket – will the A2D-35 work on these radios?
NO; Even though these have the right socket, the A2D-35 will not work. -
Will I be able select music tracks using the radio buttons?
NO; you must use audio device built-in buttons or optional wireless remote control -
Can I use the A2D-35 for Bluetooth hands free calling?
NO; the A2D-35 dos NOT support Hands-Fee Profile (HPF).
