Safety precautions
Please read through this instruction manual so you will know how to operate your model properly.
WARNInG
- Adjust the headphone sound to the proper volume. A loud sound may damage your ears.
- For traffic safety, never use headphones while riding a bicycle, motorbike, or driving a car. It is dangerous to increase the sound volume too much because you cannot hear external sounds; take great care about the traffic around you.
CAUTION
- Never inspect the inside OR remodel this machine. If the customer remodels this machine, Alpha Theta Corporation will no longer guarantee its performance.
Precautions for use
- Caution should be observed during use, since adjustable parts may pinch the user’s hair, depending on the way in which headphones are used.
- Do not subject the headphones to strong forces or impacts, since damage could occur to the exterior appearance or product performance.
- When headphones are dirty, wipe them with a dry, soft cloth. Take care not to blow into the speaker unit.
- Sound quality might deteriorate or sound may be interrupted if the plug is dirty. Keep the plug clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth occasionally.
- Ear pads may degrade over long periods of use or storage. In this event consult your dealer.
- If any itching or skin discomfort occurs during use, cease use immediately.
The Safety of Your Ears is in Your Hands
Get the most out of your equipment by playing it at a safe level – a level
that lets the sound come through clearly without annoying blaring or
distortion and, most importantly, without affecting your sensitive hearing.
Sound can be deceiving. Over time, your hearing “comfort level” adapts to
higher volumes of sound, so what sounds “normal” can actually be loud and
harmful to your hearing. Guard against this by setting your equipment at a
safe level BEFORE your hearing adapts.
ESTABLISH A SAFE LEVEL:
Set your volume control at a low setting. Slowly increase the sound until you
can hear it comfortably and clearly, without distortion. Once you have
established a comfortable sound level, set the dial and leave it there.
BE SURE TO OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES:
DO not turn up the volume so high that you can’t hear what’s around you. Use
caution or temporarily discontinue use in potentially hazardous situations. Do
not use headphones while operating a motorized vehicle; the use of headphones
may create a traffic hazard and is illegal in many areas.
