Introduction

Many have aftermarket stereos with Auxiliary inputs jacks (RCA) or factory radios with an auxiliary input adapter for their audio devices. With the A2D- RCA add-on you no longer have to deal with plugs and connectors. The A2D-RCA automatically connects to Smartphone, Kindle, or Tablet upon entering vehicle. Stream turn-by-turn directions, music Apps (e.g. Pandora, Spotify) directly into Stereo. This leaves no wires or clutter on or around dashboard and is a welcome upgrade for those with Bluetooth enabled devices.
See Frequently Asked question at the end of this guide for details.

All Radios (factory or aftermarket) must have RCA Audio inputs or an auxiliary input adapter for the A2D-RCA to work.

Frequent ask questions & troubleshooting

  1. Does the A2D-RCA work on all radios?
NO; Works on stereos with RCA Audio inputs

  2. Can I connect red wire to a permanent +12V source instead of accessory source?
    YES; but it’s not recommended.

  3. Do I have to pair this adapter each time I get into vehicle?
NO; once paired the A2D-RCA connects automatically

  4. My stereo does not have audio inputs and I would like to install the A2D-RCA. What are my options?
If stereo (factory or aftermarket) does not have RCA inputs, you must first purchase an auxiliary input adapter.

  5. Can I use the A2D-RCA for Bluetooth hands free calls?
NO; the A2D-RCA does not support Hands-Fee Calling (HFP)

  6. How does it work if paired to more than one device?
More than one device can be paired, however the device that was last used gets priority. To pair connect a second device simply un-pair first.

  7. Will I be able to connect the A2D-RCA tohome stereo?
YES, so long you can provide 12V DC (AC to DC converter required) and home stereo has RCA audio inputs.
