SPEAKERANDAMPLIFIER SETUP
Step 1: Use the speaker wire(not included) to connect the speakers and amplifier as picture shown below.
Step 2: Use the power adapter and power cable that comes with power on the amplifier as the picture is shown below. Tap the power switch to the ON position to turn the amplifier on. Then the speakers are ready to go.
CONNECTION INSTRUCTIONS
Choose one of the three modes available to play your music.
Option1: Bluetooth mode
Option2:AUX mode
Option3: Optical mode
Option1: Bluetooth Mode
Screw the Bluetooth antenna to the amplifier first for a longer Bluetooth
distance, turn on the amplifier, then tap the mode switch to “BT” position,
the BT Mode Indicator flashes quickly in Blue. Turn on the Bluetooth function
on your Bluetooth device and search for Model name “EF-B260”.When found,
selected, and paired, the LED indicator stays in blue. Music is ready to play.
Option2:AUX Mode
Turn on the amplifier, then tap the mode switch to “AUX” position, theAUX Mode
The indicator comes on in Green. Use the aux cable to connect the amplifier
with your audio out devices, like DVD, TV, cell phone, computer, iPad, etc.
Music is ready to play.
Option3: Optical Mode
Turn on the amplifier, then tap the mode switch to the “OPTICAL” position, the
OPTICAL Mode Indicator comes on in Red. Use the optical cable to connect the
amplifier with your audio out devices, like DVD, TV, etc. Music is ready to
play.
BLUETOOTH DISTANCE
When applying Bluetooth mode, you will have to screw the Bluetooth antenna to
the amplifier first for a longer Bluetooth distance.
Bluetooth version: 5.0
Bluetooth Distance(distance between amplifier and Bluetooth device): 100ft
max.
Please note that outdoor use distance may be shortened due to signal
interference, which is normal.
Gentle Reminder: The Bluetooth name EF-B260 will be saved into the device is
paired with last time for instant music playback. When you want it to connect
to other devices, you will have to turn off the Bluetooth function on the last
device it paired with, then you can find the Model name EF-B260 on your
current Bluetooth list.
VOLUME ADJUSTMENT
The speaker has a 30 watts sound(each unit), you can control the volume with the Volume Knob. Please note if you want the loudest sound, please turn up the volume of your audio source in the first place.
IMPORTANT
- For Bluetooth mode connection, you will have to screw the Bluetooth antenna to the amplifier first for a longer Bluetooth distance.
- For Optical mode connection, you will have to set your audio output to PCM/LPCM, Dolby/DTS is not supported. The menus for sound out and audio format settings are not the same from different brands. please refer to your manual for details. (for ref.) Device homepage–system setting–image and sound—voice setting–digital audio output–PCM/LPCM. The DVD player doesn’t require any settings.
- The speakers have a waterproof rating of IPX5, which means no worries for splashes, small rains. You can mount them on the wall or leave them around the pool area, just please don’t immerse them into water or leave them in heavy rain.
- If you use another adapter to power on the amplifier, the voltage should not exceed 24V, otherwise, the amplifier may get damaged gradually. Highly recommend using the power supply that comes with the product.
- If you experience sound cutting out, sound disconnecting, no sound, or any other issues in the use, please try to reboot the amplifier, or drop us an email with your amazon order number via support@pohopa.com. Our customer support will get you one good solution within 12 hours.
